Very disappointed with service of woman Elaine, my parter was in later at night to buy tobacco and decided he was going to buy me an Easter egg as a surprise for me, the woman tried to pressure him into buying the most expensive one there saying that if it was for his girlfriend he should be willing to get me that one, my partner only had £30 on him so couldn't afford the more expensive one, the lady kept insisting while other customers were forming a queue, too embarrassed to admit he couldn't afford the Easter egg he ended up just leaving without one at all absolutely devastated and embarrassed by the woman's behaviour. Appalled. Might sound stupid but certainly terrible customer service, I understand trying to upsell but this was a terrible attitude to have.

BE CAREFUL Not happy with the service or help with a complaint we had today husband put vpower petrol from the low glencairn station in his bike and it caused his bike to break down had to get the bike recovered and drained at a cost to us went in and the woman at the till said its nothing to do with us no offer of a number to call to speak to a manager nothing so be carefull as us and our friends and family will no longer use Any of the shell garages in future .

Opening times are clearly just made up as they go. I've been here in the early evening a few times recently and it's been closed. Especially at weekends. Starting to get pretty annoying.

Visited Shell Kilmarnock on Sunday 6th September at 17.45 and it was closed, the website clearly says it closes at 11pm and as my company fuel card is for Shell only I had to drive nearly 20miles down to Ayr to fill up, an absolute joke, why on earth would a petrol station close so early!!!!!!! Will be advising our Fleet department to think carefully when they are due to change the fuel provider in the future, not happy.

For some reason it allways runs out of diesel fuel I only use here as company I work for only have an account with shell
Still has signage for 24 hour service and even a night payment window. These need to be taken down as I was using a work vehicle and instead of being able to use the company fuel card as intended I had tonpay from my own pocket.

I use this Shell often as I own a Mk2 Focus ST225, despite living in Ayr and having V-Power available from Prestwick Road. I find the staff are always friendly and polite, which goes a long way in my books. I have been there to fill up a few late nights before, however after finishing work at 1am this morning. I went up to find it lit up but the window shutters down including the night window. When did this happen? I'll go up soon but never heard anything about it closing overnight?

Used to be 24 Hours, handy for late night fill up before or after nightshift. Ayr doesn't sell V-Power diesel so need to use BP Ultimate after hours

Very well situated in the bottom end of the town. There petrol is always at very good prices. There is also the availablity of air and water. And a selection of food e.g sandwiches and even mircrowavable burgers, very handy if your out and about in the small hours of the morning and in need of a speedy snack as they also have a microwave inside the filling station. There is also a fair range of refreshments and also sweets and crisps.. And there is also magazines and car accessories wether your looking for a replacement bulb to screenwash ,oil or anti freeze your sure to find them all here.
