Tried the village hut in kilmarnock for the first time ordered chicken curry with rice my usual from lots of other take aways. Took home looking forward to a nice meal opened rice seemed fine opened the chicken curry was surpised to find it very watery and greasy looked more like chicken curry soup tried a bit found it tasteless and bland. And that is putting it mildly. Called the take away back to raise concerns regarding the quality of their food . And was told as I was a new customer the cook told me he had put a lot of love into it? To which I could hear laughter in the background. Please anyone thinking of going to the village hut in kilmarnock think twice even if you are desperate the cook told me he had never had a complaint before I said that's not what your reviews are telling. I took my curry to another restaurant and they told me that looks disgusting only reason I tried the village hut is because I was visiting the area at the time.

I love this place, I have never been to a place this good in a while. I highly recommend the hoggies as they have a lot of weight to them and they are very filling. I recommend this place.

Spicy chicken calzone was inedible - I’ve never had issues with village hut before - liquid pouring out bottom and soaked into box - had to peel off box - no taste - not spicy - filling not cooked properly - just awful - sons donner calzone was ok

Honestly love this place. Consistently give big portions for reasonable price. My go to Indian takeaway :)

Just been unable to eat their mixed pqkora, mushroom one was old mushrooms and the rest was hard. The sauce far too runny and salad was very old and dried up
Never had a bad meal from Village Hut. The stuffed crust pizzas are amazing! And kebabs are excellent. Totally recommend!

Terrible food came cold and so plastic tasting!!! Kids couldn't even eat the pizza was horrible would definitely not recommend!!!!!!
