Got a delivery a couple of weeks ago and wasn’t great but decided not to write a review until tried again. So had one tonight and just as bad. Fish seemed dry and the chips were greasy. When the Welbeck reopened a while back it was among the best around, but now it has went downhill quite quickly.

This was our first time at The Welbeck and the food was excellent. We phoned in the order but there was still a bit of a wait for our order to be prepared. Also, the waiting within the premises was a bit chaotic with customers strewn around the counter and throughout the dine in area ... ?

Overpriced. £19 for scampi supper, smoked sausage supper, 2 pickled onions ( very small) and small bottle irn bru).Chips rubbery and tasteless. ?Reheated. Scampi were all identical sausage-shaped. 'Scampi' also had a dried out rubbery texture with very little taste! Not a good experience and I won't be back there. On a plus note, the girl serving was lovely. Polite and helpful and Trew in a 'free' carrier bag.

I haven't been in since it got refurbished. It was dated before. The girl was lovely, who serviced me. It was good.

I've had better...more batter than fish.
