Superb selection of food to suit all tastes. Service is fantastic from all the staff. Always busy which tells you something. Coachman is my favourite go to restaurant when I want something tasty.

Went in today to get some breakfast and was seated straight away with the menus. There were only 3 other tables in and the waitress completely blanked us, despite walking past our table numerous times. After 20 minutes of just sitting there, we got up and left and walked by 3 different staff members and not one of them questioned us as to why we were leaving. Loved the Coachman as I’m from Kilsyth but 100% won’t be back after this experience.

Local to us, but the first time we have been. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay over. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Even though the restaurant was busy, service was quick, and the staff really polite. The food was lovely. We had the Coachman platter to start, and it easily fed 4. My husband has the Korean Mac and Cheese and said it was the best he has had! I wanted dessert but not right then, so I had one to take away. The price was really reasonable. We ate off of the main menu, but they do have a fixed price Sunday Roast menu with great options and a children's menu also with good choices and good portion sizes. Will definitely be back

Very nice staff, both when arriving late and at breakfast.A 3 GBP surcharge for a peppermint or Earl Gray tea bag just makes you wonder - what's the point? There was no discount for the toast that was burnt on the bottom - no problem….It's a shame that the rooms facing the street seem to be allocated first; it would certainly have been quieter towards the back
