Himali Indian Restaurant Kilsyth
7 Market St, Kilsyth, GlasgowMy first time at Himali for a takeaway on recommendation of a friend. It has been a stressful week, moving house, so my wife and I were up to treating ourselves to special Friday night dinner. We had spiced onions and popadoms, mixed pakora, achari chicken tikka with nan and rice. We were not disappointed! Bursting with fresh flavours, beautifully cooked chicken and vegetables. A party in your mouth from the first bite of delicious pakora. Very welcoming staff and an inviting atmosphere for a sit in dinner. I was lucky enough to have visited Nepal a while ago, so I look forward to Himali's momos next time. So lucky to have an outstanding establishment just a few minutes walk away. A jewel in Kilsyth's crown.
