Lovely little shop. We had the small breakfast which was far from small. The cups of tea and coffee were large and everything was hot. Food was amazing and prices were reasonable.

Cold bacon, tub full of pre mixed salad, sandwich wet with salad dressing, no onions in sandwich like I asked, flavourless but thanks for the

The coffee was just OK. But the cakes were terrible. The Chocolate cake was like eating wet sand and the brownie horrible too. The food was probably old and stale.

We ordered paninis: salad and dressing was crushingly mediocre, accompanying crisps were flavourless own-brand tortilla chips. The tikka panini was actually a delight, an economic blend of succulent chicken chunks with a tangy sauce. The mozzarella and pesto tomato was underwhelming and not a taste sensation. The staff were not very welcoming. As somewhere to pop into before bombing down the A9 back to the Central Belt, this isn't too bad. But don't expect anything above average.

Good food but expensive for what you
Very poor food served by sultry staff. To be avoided. Travel to next village Newtonmore or Laggan for much better food and service.
