SUIE BAR
Kincraig, KingussieThe Suie bar is a traditional bar offering at least 4 real ales including the local brewery in Aviemore and they are kept in tip top condition, they also offer a full range of keg beers including lager, cider and Guinness and they also offer a wide range of non alcoholic beverages. Food only accompanies sponsored events and Sharon cooks this at home because the kitchen at the Suie is not up to standard.Alan employs good staff who are a credit to both himself and the Suie. If you are looking for a traditional pub in the Highlands look no further than the Suie.

shire, Loch Insh Outdoor centre Kincraig Inverness, KingussieWe visited this place a couple of days ago by sheer accident. Didn't know what to expect but what a place.the grounds are super clean and tidy.staff seemed very happy in there roles and couldn't be more helpful.we stayed in a vw camper and it was very quiet at night.parking,24hr toilets,showers,bar and love dogs.so many water activities,trails to walk.cooper was well happy.dont hesitate and visit.

68-70 High Street, Kingussiei have been that place few days a go . we had there food best food i would say in Aviemore . the food was so hot on serving time . they were very friendly.i will defeneltly recommend to visit this place. i have visit other few places there but i found this is the best one. let me thank you again the manager .............

19 High Street, KingussieThe nicest fish & chips in town, they said! Absolutely loved the fish, although the chips were mushy and dry. The dose was well served and accessible in terms of pricing.
The mozzarella sticks were good, as well as the garlic sauce.
The staff at the counter were super nice.

The Boathouse Restaurant Loch Insh
shire, Loch Inch Outdoor Centre, Kincraig, InvernessRestaurant attached to the water sports Center. Great view over the loch, very friendly service and the food was very decent but reflective of the fact that a lot of kids visit. Bar is dog friendly but not the main dining area. Very reasonably priced.

Columba House
Manse Road, KingussieWe received good instructions on how to access the key from the key safe which was easy. We stayed two nights.
Our room on the first floor was great with a four poster bed, views across the hills, water, tea facilities and a large bathroom with corner bath and separate shower. We slept very well.
Downstairs in the kitchen was fresh milk and some pastries/cereal bars/cereal for breakfast.
Only issue we had was we brought our own food for dinner the first night and there were no plates (only bowls) and no bread knife which made it slightly difficult!
It's true the place is looking slightly run down and the rooms are a little tired but this is reflected in the very reasonable room rates. We knew there was no reception or other facilities and that was fine - it's only a 5 minute walk to the village where there are several cars/cafes!
Location great for exploring the Cairngorms too.
