I hadn't realised that Cafe Fresco had its own review, so I added mine to the department store.Food was great with lots of choices, friendly staff, great prices. But can be very busy at times.Parking: Lots of spaces, but can be very busy at times. But Aldi over the road.Wheelchair accessibility: Lifts available for different floors so great for disabled people.

As always food and service excellent and can't be faulted. Staff work hard and are always friendly and helpful. So nice to be served by staff who actually look like they are happy to do so. Even during busy spells tables are quickly cleared and cleaned to an excellent standard - not just the cursory wipe over you see in some other cafes. I enjoy coming here. Keep up the good work guys you're all doing great.

I was worried about trying here after reading some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised on how nice a visit we had. This is a self service cafe inside a shop so not exactly fancy. Tables payed out well and all cleaned frequently. Large selection of cakes and breakfast items available. I had a small breakfast and hubby a large breakfast. You get to pick your items. It was busy when we were in but plenty of fresh items were being produced. Coffee was also good. Staff were friendly and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely return here next time I visit Kirkcaldy.

We only bought a slice of cake and 2 lattes on this occasion. There is, however, a lot more. This is a well stocked cafe. The cake was a good size and the lattes were very hot. We visited before 12 noon and managed to get a seat. It did, however, get very busy, so it might prove difficult to get a seat if in a big group. The cafe is on the upper floor, accessed by stairs or a lift. There are customer toilets opposite, which were very clean. Special mention to the server cleaning the tables it's always nice to see clean tables ready for the next customers.Parking: There is free on street parking between Rejects and Aldi, Cromarty carpark to the North side of Rejects and Junction Road car park to the South are Council run, free to park, but are patrolled by Parking Attendants. The carpark in the middle is owned by Rejects. Avoid parking on St. Claire Street as this is time limited and patrolled by Council Parking Attendants.

Stopped in for a coffee and a cake. Breakfast was still on and really busy. Tables were cleaned quickly and service was as quick as can be for the queue. Will go back for breakfast next time.

Popped in for lunch before shopping, WHAT a let down absolutely ridiculous prices for what you get , got like 8 chips as a side on a panini which had no filling and all for £8.25 , i had to then go get a bowl of chips that were £3.25, poor taste, poor value for money, I wonder if its to do with changing hands of owner !!, but not what it used to be , I defo won't be back .

I visit here quite a lot as I live in the local area. While the food and drink is good, it’s quite overpriced. I’ve never had anything that was bad quality or disappointing but it’s very expensive for what you get. I find the more you order, the less you seem to spend. I’ve brought friends here who were delighted to find such a large comfortable cafe in the middle of a huge department store but they were taken aback at the price of a coffee and a cake. The other really bad point about this place is the staff- they’re not exactly rude, but they’re obviously not proponents of service with a smile. It’s rare to get eye contact unless they’re annoyed because you asked them something and they all stay behind the counter, no matter how many plates and cups are piling up on tables. They give the impression that they’d rather be anywhere but there
