A clean and well run pub with excellent service, an incredibly thorough approach to food allergies and such kindness in us being able to watch a football game on one of their many sports screens. 312 High St, KirkcaldyA group of us had a fantastic meal on New Years day. All the food that was served to the table tasted great and came in large portions (some of us took doggy bags home). The Gurkha beer was a nice accomliment to the food. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets were clean and tidy.

We heard good things about the Novar so we headed in and were greeted and sat promptly. Great select of drink with a wide range of food on the menu. Food arrived promptly and the portions were a good size, especially for 7 hungry men!? Highly recommend for everyone, will certainly be back ?

They have really nice vegetarian food and the paratha was really nice. I didn't order naan, but from what I saw they looked delicious. The prices were super reasonable too.
Thanks for dinner, if I am ever back in Scotland I would love to come back here.

Doesn't put you off at all. it just proves that it's worth the wait. A full house speaks volumes. I've never been disappointed. Even lent us the dish with takeaway mac and cheese, now that's service.

23 St Clair St, KirkcaldyThis is a very busy wee chip shop that has a very wide variety of excellent deep fried foods. Their fish is excellent but they also do many chip shop staples. I'd suggest that his is one of the,if not the, best in Kirkcaldy. We have tried all around Kirkcaldy but always come back here. Their chips are excellent.
The service is always with a smile from the girls at the till. The gentlemen behind the fryer working ten to the dozen do at times lift their heads up for a breather.
Order as you step in the door and it will not be long before your stepping out with a warm tasty tea.

The delivery drivers are polite and prompt, the delivery time is fantastic, even at the weekend. Unfortunately I've seen myself waiting hours for food but this has thankfully never been the case with Delhicious, the food is so tasty and it always arrives piping hot, very big portions (they can spread over about 2/3 nights) with reasonable prices, plenty of variety and they've never gotten an order wrong. Definitely one of the best ?

Delivery was good delivery guy was friendly and polite. Food was delivered hot. The chicken Maryland fed 2 of us. The BBQ sauce is honestly so bloody good. I definitely recommend without hesitation.

Any notes I leave have always been taken notice off and followed(this is important given I’m ordering for 2 autistic kids) food is always delicious and delivered piping hot. 343 High St, KirkcaldyMerchants House are so deserving of every positive review. They are very accommodating for our needs, not just dietary requirements but access needs too. The staff are very responsive, listen a lot and Marzena is just so lovely and friendly. The food is such good quality and the portions are very good. More than worth the money. There are plenty of options available to accommodate for dairy free, vegan and gluten free, including desserts which is always a difficult thing to find. The social media presence is fantastic and you can see on the day what cakes and desserts are available and they do this every day. One of our favourite places to go to. No one does a baked potato as good as this place.

Atmosphere was great the restaurant was very busy which was a good sign straight away. The food was lovely you know when you get the veg with you food in some places its a bit soggy. But the veg was tasty and crisp which was lovely with my meal. Had a chicken dish which was moist and well seasoned. My wife the tagliatelle which looked amazing and she said it was so creamy and lovely. Will definitely be going back again ??

The special coffee is worth the extra few pence if you want an even better tasting cuppa. The ham and lentil soup is incredibly tasty and wholesome and always hot. The poached eggs are excellent too. A weekly stop off for lunch after the gym for Mum and I. Highly recommended!

215 Links St, KirkcaldyI highly recommend this place! The food is absolutely delicious – especially the gyros box with salad and fries, which was incredibly tasty, fresh, and very affordable. Everything was perfectly seasoned and full of flavour.
What really makes this place stand out is the warm, family-like atmosphere. You feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in, and it creates a very relaxed and enjoyable experience.
The service is outstanding – the staff are friendly, talkative, and very polite. They take the time to chat and make sure everything is just right, which makes a big difference.
Another huge advantage for me is that the staff are multilingual. I’m from Poland, and being able to speak Polish made ordering so much easier and more comfortable – I really appreciate that!
The food was also prepared very quickly, without compromising on quality. Everything was fresh, hot, and served with care.
Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others! ?

Rosslyn St, KirkcaldyWe came here for our first time out for lunch with our new born recently. We were naturally anxious and worried incase she decided to scream the place down. That being said, I must say the experience went extremely well.
Although this wasn’t implied or mentioned but I did personally feel like the staff quickly noticed we had a new born and soon after we sat down, our order was taken promptly and our food arrived without any excessive waiting. We really appreciated this as the cafe was still fairly busy and we felt like our situation was taken into consideration and to experience quick compassionate service like that made our first family lunch much more relaxing. I could look at this two ways, they could have seen a newborn and thought to themselves.. let’s them get in and out as quickly as possible incase the baby cries and annoys everyone else, but I’m choosing to see it in a much more positive light! It certainly felt like we were personally looked after and we thank you for that.
We had two toasties and a cake each, which were very nice. Couldn’t fault our visit at all really, staff were very friendly too. We actually wanted two other different cakes to take home and the lady said that normally that would be charged at a slightly increased price due to it being a takeaway order but instead charged us a sit in price. Obviously some would expect that anyway as we still sat in for our lunch but it’s a nice gesture nonetheless.
Anyone wanting to visit with little ones, it’s a great cafe to visit. Can sit inside or outside also.

The Bothy at Boglily
Boglily farm steading, KirkcaldyBrilliant breakfast every Tuesday morning for Mum and I. The staff are exceptional and the food quality is very high. This place also serves one of the best coffees in the area. We have become such regulars that our drinks are started almost as soon as we walk through the door. Highly recommended!

231 High St, KirkcaldyPassing through on a holiday and the service was awesome, the waiters were just genuinely kind people. It is always a joy to walk into a random restaurant after a night stroll and find such kind people and good food!
They have really nice vegetarian food and the paratha was really nice. I didn't order naan, but from what I saw they looked delicious. The prices were super reasonable too.
Thanks for dinner, if I am ever back in Scotland I would love to come back here.

With limited chips left, they generously added extra fish and fritters instead, such a great touch. Easily one of the best chippies I’ve been to, great food and fantastic value!

Doesn't put you off at all. it just proves that it's worth the wait. A full house speaks volumes. I've never been disappointed. Even lent us the dish with takeaway mac and cheese, now that's service.

23 St Clair St, KirkcaldyThis is a very busy wee chip shop that has a very wide variety of excellent deep fried foods. Their fish is excellent but they also do many chip shop staples. I'd suggest that his is one of the,if not the, best in Kirkcaldy. We have tried all around Kirkcaldy but always come back here. Their chips are excellent.
The service is always with a smile from the girls at the till. The gentlemen behind the fryer working ten to the dozen do at times lift their heads up for a breather.
Order as you step in the door and it will not be long before your stepping out with a warm tasty tea.

CHICKEN GYROS HOUSE
215 Links St, KirkcaldyI highly recommend this place! The food is absolutely delicious – especially the gyros box with salad and fries, which was incredibly tasty, fresh, and very affordable. Everything was perfectly seasoned and full of flavour.
What really makes this place stand out is the warm, family-like atmosphere. You feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in, and it creates a very relaxed and enjoyable experience.
The service is outstanding – the staff are friendly, talkative, and very polite. They take the time to chat and make sure everything is just right, which makes a big difference.
Another huge advantage for me is that the staff are multilingual. I’m from Poland, and being able to speak Polish made ordering so much easier and more comfortable – I really appreciate that!
The food was also prepared very quickly, without compromising on quality. Everything was fresh, hot, and served with care.
Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others! ?

Had the lamb wrap and chicken wrap, both were delicious and proportionately huge in comparison to javits or any other kebab house in Edinburgh!
