“Was in Templehall Cafe today , got a breakfast and I have to say was impressed, food was great , the links sausage were amazing and my egg was exactly how I asked for it. The staff were very friendly, polite and made you feel welcome. Will definitely be back. The owner was even giving the kids a free ice pole. All the pies, sausage rolls and bridies looked great also a vast choice to choose from just like the cake selection, all looked really fresh and again good selection.Kid-friendliness: The owner gave the kids free ice poles”

“Went out for a birthday meal for my sister. The portion sizes are wow and the menu well its hard to decide on what to have. Lovely atmosphere and reasonably priced..Will defo be back”

“I was visiting a family member who lives close by and after a long journey I was happy to stay local. Although he has been several times because it’s dog friendly I didn’t have high expectations food wise. How wrong I was to judge! I went to order at the bar and was recommended the steak which was their special of the day. I couldn’t believe the quality of the rump I was served , amazing. It would have held its own in a dedicated steak restaurant. The kitchen is small but in view of the public was staffed by calm professionals. The accompanying onion rings and other garnishes were spot on. My relative ordered pizza and was very happy with the choice. They have a small appetite but were readily given a box to take the rest home. The meal was very good value. I would be happy to go again on my next visit. I only take a point off for the noise around the bar area but it was harmless after work banter between friends.”
