George is a wonderful tavern owner, had a great conversation, cold drinks, and fantastic food! His daughter Jodie, is an amazing cook! We had the meat pie you can see in the pictures and it was unbelievably tender and moist and well prepared. Wonderful experience, would highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant we pub. Such a great atmosphere very friendly. Went in today for lunch, hadn't booked but proprietor went out his way to help. Menu was lovely and varied and we had something of the light bites. It was amazing I'll be back. Prices are excellent too.

My son and his partner took me out for dinner and his choice of venue was spot on. The steak pie is simply wonderful and prawn cocktail excellent, topped off with rhubarb crumble and ice cream... Delicious!

have been to loads of restuarants over the years, this is one i cannot fault,staff were excellent,and as for the 3 course meal was out of this world,get the chance will be there again on my next visit
