“I give a lot of five star reviews and then I encounter a business like Robertson's where the food and especially the service go so far beyond the norm that five stars just isn't enough. The food was great, tasty, plentiful, locally sourced and well priced. however, what really made it was the service. Fiona was so friendly and helpful with things to do on Orkney. We came away with loads of info. then on paying Kaitlyn was great sourcing coin for us (don't ask!) We're only here for the week but I can see us eating here several times.”
“Over 1000 whiskies… what else needs to be said? Yeah, they have beers and gins and whatnot, but who cares? It’s all about the whisky!”
“I went when it was very quiet, but the bar staff were friendly and the atmosphere cosy.”
“We went on a wet Tuesday afternoon, jukebox playing and friendly staff.Nice choice of draught beer”
“Thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit, decent selection of beer whisky etc plenty of TVs (I'd mention the jukebox but if I put my tunes I'd have emptied the place) clean as well.. but more importantly (for me at least) friendly welcoming staff probably why 5 out of 6 nights we (my brother and I) visited.. only downsides were 1) the urinals are a bit too high for short arses like me.. 2) I didn't get a scapa special pint glass (I did ask)”
“In a roomy public bar setting, the local "Dark Island" ale was way better than its bottled cousin.”
“Great theme bar with the emphasis on motors. Quite lively and very popular with the locals and visitors. There's a dart board, television screens and outside seating. Lots of old memorabilia featured throughout the building. Great place to go to”
