Owners really friendly and helpful with information about island & history. Totally ready then for visit to museum, and afternoon walking along coast from Vat of Kurbister.Check on opening days so you don't miss out!”
“Lovely little Café near the port. Very friendly owner and great coffee! We hope to visit again soon!”
“Simple but tasty food, at very reasonable prices, served by friendly and helpful staff in a very impressive building. What's not to love?”
“I give a lot of five star reviews and then I encounter a business like Robertson's where the food and especially the service go so far beyond the norm that five stars just isn't enough. The food was great, tasty, plentiful, locally sourced and well priced. however, what really made it was the service. Fiona was so friendly and helpful with things to do on Orkney. We came away with loads of info. then on paying Kaitlyn was great sourcing coin for us (don't ask!) We're only here for the week but I can see us eating here several times.”
“Our family dined here last Saturday and were very impressed with the food, ambience, all the staff, everything really. Try the sundaes, you will not be disappointed. Pizzas also delicious. Just eat here!”
“This cafe was recommended to us for its scones, jam and cream and they definitely delivered. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a smile and ‘nothing is too difficult’ attitude. We had fruit scones which were delicious. The jam and clotted cream were also lovely. The cafe is very dog friendly, warm, smells wonderful and deserves the five stars.”
“Max Cook, our tour guide, took us to this local restaurant. Food was excellent and very nice service.”
“(Translated by Google) I really liked this place. It is located in the center of Kirkwall. On display for sale very interesting pieces of art. Comfortable and very nice tables and chairs. The staff was very nice. I drank a chai latte with almond milk. Thanks again for the cupcake.(Original)Mi è piaciuto molto questo locale. Si trova nel centro di Kirkwall. In esposizione in vendita pezzi d'arte molto interessanti. Tavoli e sedie comodi e molto carini. Il personale è stato molto gentile. Ho bevuto un chai latte con latte di mandorla. Grazie ancora per il cupcake.”
“Really lovely and cosy place in the centre of Kirkwall. The portions are really big, totally filling and if you don’t manage it, they very kindly provide a take away box. Delicious loaded fries for lunch and salmon ? for breakfast. Very good coffee although would appreciate soy milk as they only had oat. Overall 5/5, lovely place with a modern and very relaxed vibe.”
“A friend and I met here for lunch, I had hommous and my friend had the falafel the food was absolutely lovely, it took a while to come but was definitely worth waiting for. I'm not sure why they have toasties on offer when they have such amazing Egyptian dishes but I guess you have to cater to all tastes. I will definitely be back. My only criticism would be that I wish we had a choice of large coffees, but what we did have was good, I just would have liked more.”
