We love having lunch here. Always something a bit different and a good use of more interesting ingredients like aubergine. My husband had a Spanish chip butty which had Manchego cheese in it and I had a foraccia sandwich with houmous and Mediterranean roast vegetables. Everything is freshly cooked as you wait so you can vary or leave out some fillings. Good tea menu too and a good variety of tray bakes. Pleasant staff. Be sure to get there before 2pm if you want lunch, 11.30 to 1pm Sunday.

Tried this cafe 3 times and on each occasion I have been turned away because the kitchen is closed - even though I have turned up 1 hour before they state they are closed. Will never try a 4th time. Clearly they have enough money and don't need my patronage. Very poor

An absolutely lovely place to stop for a nice coffee, and delicious snack.The people are so welcoming, it actually feels like having coffee at a friend's house.Even the little touches, like providing personal care products in the toilet, show how much thought & love has been put into this owner operated Café.If you are in Kirriemuir, please pop in and support this local business, these are the places we really need to keep open... ?

Went in for some lunch with partner and daughter.Decided to both have coronation chicken paninis with salad and coleslaw cans of juice and my daughter only wanted a fruit shoot and a chocolate brownie.When the food appeared it wasn't much of a salad,there was a few green leaves and a spoonful of coleslaw( not even worth putting on the plate).Needless to say we asked for paninis and it arrived on bagels and the chicken was so off putting(round balls/tasteless and absolutely disgusting)never seen chicken anything like it before or coronation chicken.Never even a explanation at counter they didn't do paninis etc just handed this totally different plate to what we requested.We didn't say anything as we tasted the food so just left it.Total waste of money and can clearly say we won't be back!!!!...

Very surprised!!!Before we tried someone had said ‘they do weird food there’ Well doh! That’s right up our street!Small seating area, super clean & very welcoming We couldn’t decide as all the options sounded so good but we opted for the Chorizo Bagel & Bacon Panini, forgot to picture but the presentation was spot on!Portion size was also good.The flavours in both had our tastebuds dancing, inventive combinations & super tasty!Highly recommend!PS the coffee was lovely also!
