Three Bellies Brae
1-3 Bellies Brae, KirriemuirDropped into The 3 Bellies and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff have that perfect mix of friendly and efficient. I ordered the Classic Bangers and it was exactly what comfort food should be! Followed it up with crumble and custard which tasted like someone’s gran had made it fresh that morning. Simple food, done really well, and done with pride. A fantastic meal, great value, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Kirrie.

The Star Rock Shop
25 Roods, KirriemuirA very sweet lady served my friend and I today. She knew her stuff! Great suggestions and told me a bunch of cool stuff about candy history and how it was made differently. Their berry ice cream is amazing btw, also their humbugs are very delicious.
A place that’s worth the visit, being the oldest candy shop in Scotland!

Kerymor Tavern

Drink selection is good and prices are reasonable, there is snacks behind bar but no bar food so don't be mistaken if you think you'll get your tea here.

The Garden Cafe, Pathhead Farm
Pathhead equestrian, cafe and garden centre, Forfar Rd, KirriemuirGreat breakfast and lovely staff. We were too late for breakfast but we were served anyway. It was really busy after 12 but the staff coped with good humour giving the place a warm family atmosphere. Will go again! It helped that dogs and children are equally warmly welcomed too.we were walk ins but I would reserve for lunch if we go again especially at the weekend.

Peter Chan Chinese Take Away
30 Roods, KirriemuirHad a weeks stay in Kirriemuir and went to Peter Chan's on the final night. Firstly, great name. Secondly, great food. Ordered and picked up on time. The food was very nice indeed, freshly cooked and unlike a lot of Chinese takeaways, lacking in excessive sauce and grease.
