My missus had Christmas night out here, throughly enjoyed the music, atmosphere and beer!! Came home relaxed as a fart, and spent the following day in her bed!! Good time had by all.

Armstrong's Bar & Restaurant

Our go to for a treat lunch or evening meal. The decor is cosy and welcoming. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly, accommodating and professional. A good selection on the kids menu also and options that do include vegetables.Vegetarian options: There is a vegan section in the menu with starters, mains and desserts.

Viv’s Kitchen

Great home made soup n if u like Clark’s bakery then this place beats it hands down n worth the 20 miles travel to get quality food and the food is fresh so no nipping in back n re heating your Lauren sausage, bacon, also no hard bits because of overcooking then reheating. Women are really nice and efficient. For the price well worth it. I’ve been going for a few months now at least once a week n won’t be stopping anytime soon.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by any wheelchair as its converted unit.

Bar Ogilvy

Great atmosphere, good music, especially on the weekends. They are open every day except Sunday. Well worth a visit. I updated my review to 5 stars since it's like a 2nd home to me now.

Bridges Coffee House

A grand hot chocolate! The richness was of excellent proportion, leading to a greatly chocolatey drink, and the consistency was greatly done, with only the very bottom being slightly thick. The temperature was the only aspect slightly lacking, and could have done with being a touch warmer, though that's really a nitpick. I wasn't able to get a photograph due to my phone succumbing to the Angus winter, though I'll surely have to return to see if toppings improve the drink. 7.5/10

The Garden Cafe, Pathhead Farm

We really enjoyed this place. For big family like ours with 4 kids it was perfect and Kaylie and the tram made it so enjoyable for us. The food is natural, locally sourced and very tasty.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly place with great staff

Great atmosphere at this tavern always made to feel welcome and there is always someone around to help if you are looking for trades, owners are two lovely people that will make each visit feel comfortable and welcoming. Drink selection is good and prices are reasonable, there is snacks behind bar but no bar food so don't be mistaken if you think you'll get your tea here.

I understand why the place gets busy. The food, the coffee and the staff are all wonderful. I've been lucky to get a table both times I've visited.Very reasonable prices too.

The Star Rock Shop

The oldest sweetie shop in Scotland and it fairly brought back childhood memories of my old time favourites, only one they didn't have was brandy balls ☹️

Golden Palace

Amazing local Chinese takeaway, the food from here tends to be on the money, the Honey garlic chicken is the talk of the town and is highly recommended, the honey sriracha is also brilliant most of the noodle dishes are good and the app makes things easy to order although delivery is not an option. The monthly specials can be a hit or a miss with the gourmet prawn crackers being at the lower end of the quality ladder this month consistency can sometimes be a problem depending on how busy the evening is.

Came up for Bonfest this year.Ticket mix up (my bad) meant my mates were arena on the Friday & I was Billy no Mates in Kirrie.Wound up in your pub.After a minor, good natured fracas with a bunch of German AC/DC folks was sorted I had a lovely, peaceful evening welcomed by, and blethering with, the locals.Top pub in top town.See you in 23

Lee's Takeway

Visited with friends. Lovely atmosphere, quiet but just how I Like it. Order taking quickly, very well mannered member of staff. Food was excellent,all food was served piping hot and prices are very reasonable also Will definitely be back.. We loved it thankyou. ?

Usual chip/kebab shop food . absolutely class min, customer service was top tier, same with the spicy chips (all though toilet wasn’t to happy ??, great place, still got sauce on my lips it’s that good! should make this a fortnite map!

Steeple Fish Bar

Arrived late and was told they had turned fryer off but they turned them on again and 10 minutes later we had 2 very tasty, fresh fish suppers. Great service and delicious food. Thank you

Curriemuir Cuisine

Very decent amount of food in their munchy boxes however it's mediocre nothing special. Pizzas are also okay but at around £12 for a pizza I'm not so sure it's value for money, good enough food if you can't be bothered cooking or had a long day at work. Delivery took forever one night but was very quick the other so mixed opinions on that I guess some nights are busier than others which is totally fine.
