My partner and I love this wee pub we go along with the kids and have food and drinks , it's lovely and cosy ,the food is amazing and the staff are just second to none. They are so friendly and nothing is a hassle. Definitely recommend for great food and cosy and relaxing place to sit with lovely staff ?

Went for lunch today, waited over an hour for soup in a cold lounge, moved to the bar area ordered two steak pies which when came were at best no better than a look warm pukka pie, disappointed, won’t be back!

I spent a wonderful primary school reunion at Sharp's on Saturday with 2 friends. The server was friendly, food tasty and good value for money. The 6 nations rugby was on offer to the fans in one section, followed by a 60th Birthday party. I'd had another gathering after the reunion with a different group arranged and was kindly asked to relocate to another comfortable section to accommodate the 60th. The atmosphere generally was a very happy one, music playing in the pub section. Service overall was smooth and consistent, and I'll definitely return when the opportunity arrives. Thank you Sharp's management and staff for the memorable evening.

Soups are lovely, but too much trouble at night time with riff raff. It was better with the previous owners as there was no trouble and better food Beas available for main meals etc. Would rather go elsewhere.

This is an excellent Pub/ Restaurant. After performing a gig here today two of us stayed on to dine early evening. We had a sharing melted Camembert Cheese with crusty bread which was really delicious. We followed that with Steak Pie and mash and Roast beef dinner with asstd veg and Roast potatoes. All very delicious. We couldn't resist Pecan Pie with Ice Cream. All washed down with 2 coffees All of this was around £30 for twoWe're back next sunday with a later time slot. Thanks to Nick and Sara for their wonderful hospitality. Sharps with its Fabulous open air beer garden can easily be found down Nelson St at Nardini's Corner. Mins. from Largs seafront promenade and the BIG church. Visiting again today had pea and ham soup and pulled pork baguette. This place requires no change. Its perfect the way it is.I am a frequent visitor to this pub. It is one of the most vibrant venues in the area serving great food and staging great music. Another amazing day here on Jan 2nd performing at Largs musicfest. So busy there were queues outside awaiting entry which had to be managed by security staff. Beautiful day. 9/6/23. Visited for dinner Seafood platter and Roast beef and mustard baguette. All as good as ever. 2/9/23. Vikingfest stage sponsored by JG Sharps what an amazing day followed by equally amazing pizza at Sharps.12/11/23Another great day at Sharps, playing the blues. A beer garden refurb is in progress ?
