Tinto Tapas Bar

We visited here for the 1st yesterday and were delighted with our lunch. The food was delicious. Already planning our next visit which we decided will be next month.

Deli il Cardo

I’ve been to this lovely deli for breakfast and a couple of lunches and had been top class in each occasion. Food is tasty and fresh and coffee is delicious and always good service.

Bagel Basket

The food was bloody delicious. We had two kids meals and an adult's meal with three drinks and it was less than £25. Service was friendly and efficient. Place was clean and tidy. Nice layout. Lovely place to sit and people watch lovely big windows. I would highly recommend it and I don't know why you would consider going to any big chains when there's a lovely little local place like this to support ?

Allegria Eatery

Lovely little restaurant in Largs with great staff who can'tdo enough for you. Lovely ambient chilled atmosphere ?? I ordered bruschetta & pizza. The pizza was on point but I wasn't too fussed on the bruschetta but that's a self preference thing I suppose. All in all myself & my partner had a lovely evening dinning in this restaurant. We hope to return im the future. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

Indigo eats

Very nice restaurant just off the promenade, Largs. The food was very nice. One had a jacket potato with prawn mayonnaise and the other had homemade lentil soup and a steak sandwich. Both meal were thoroughly appreciated.

Nardini at the Moorings

We always make a beeline for Nardini At The Moorings when we're in the area, especially for their breakfasts. These were our first visits since I've been in a wheelchair.

As mentioned, the breakfast alone is worth a visit, perfectly cooked to order and comes inclusive of orange juice, tea or coffee, and toast, so very reasonable. The coffee, in particular, is excellent.

Other things on the menu that we specifically enjoyed this time round were the to-die-for cheese and bacon burger, and the spaghetti bolognaise, not to mention some of the best chips I've ever tasted.

Incidentally the walls inside are festooned with some fascinating photos indicative of the history of the place.

There is some on-street parking nearby, with some dedicated disabled spaces. There is a large car park on the promenade, which is chargeable, even for Blue Badge holders.

The café is fully wheelchair accessible and all tables, including those along the banquette, have some movable seating and are a good height to get my chair right under. Some tables are quite close together, making it a bit of a squeeze but not impossible to negotiate.

There are two single cubicle toilets, arbitrarily assigned as male and female. The female one is larger and designated as accessible and is kitted out with just a couple of grab rails, not the full complement. I managed fine but some may struggle.

Staff, without exception, are friendly and most helpful, moving furniture and opening doors without being asked.

I really cannot recommend Nardini's at the Moorings enough... fantastic food and lovely staff in a lovely, historic, setting.

i’m a southern american girl who is hardly ever impressed with the food during my visits to scotland but my god their mac and cheese is perfect. tastes just like home. also need to meet whatever diva was controlling the music because they have TASTE!

Koh I Noor

Three of us paid our first visit to the Kohinoor from Lochwinnoch last night. Excellent service, superb food - veggie and mushroom pakoras, a chicken Jaipuri, a chicken Chasni, and a veggie paneer Chasni (made on request), plus drinks, chapattis, spiced onions, mango chutney and raita and puppadums. Cosy atmosphere. We'll be back.

Largs Post Office and Tea in the Square Cafe

Just wanted to mention how helpful the new post office owners are. I left my purse there without realising, and the next day he dropped it off at my door. So grateful, thank you!

Geraldo's, Largs

I have just received my delivery of Hadji Beys Turkish Delight from Geraldo's. The parcel was a thing of beauty, my beautiful box of sweets were hidden inside a nest of staw and Ryan had also sent me a lovely little card as well. Coming home to this parcel has been such a treat today. I will be ordering from you again, this turkish delight is 'next level'. Xx

Gypsy Cream Cafe Shop

Popped in on a recommendation, So glad we did! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing (soup and sandwich of choice), nice coffee too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Largs, way better than the places on the sea front in my opinion.

Ye Olde Anchor Inn

We didn't eat in Ye Olde Anchor, but sat for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. The Inn is homely and welcoming and there was a coal fire burning adding to the atmosphere.

Sharps Largs

I had my 50th birthday in Sharps last night. Excellent venue and the buffet was all prepared fresh and great value for money. The staff went out their way to make sure everything went smoothly and nothing was too much trouble, they even decorated the function room before I arrived.

Greggs

Great staff, always a friendly greeting. They know the orders of regular customers and serves you with a smile. They have good food and coffee. Wish they had a wider tea selection

Food was good , place is a really busy takeaway when I was in with many customers in and out and many delivery drivers in and out , only thing that I would say about this place that there chips were to overdone for my liking and forgot salad on my burger and the menu was quite limited , I was looking a hoggie wrap and they never done it , but all apart from that couldn’t really complain about the food , and I’d would probably still go back

Costa Coffee

Not a regular customer but every time I entered I experienced great customer service, thanks to all team and also it has ramp for wheelchair accessibility and near to parking area of Largs, bus stop and ferry terminal are close to it.

Scotts Bar & Restaurant

Really lovely service and food. We came with a large group and several children and staff were very friendly and understanding. Waitress Charlotte was great and really looked after us. Great for a family celebration.

The Fish Works

Went in ordered 2 haddock’s and chips was giving order number told the girl be outside. She opened window didn’t shout number shouted 2 haddock quietly northen closed window. Didn’t shout out the number. Had go in and food was frozen terrible service. Very disappointing. Haddock use be much bigger. Not sure be back.

Room

Thank you Steve and staff for putting on a fabulous wake. I highly recommend this place for an afternoon event. Great layout, great spread, nothing too much trouble ? Went back for brunch the following morning which was delicious.

Nicos Pizzeria Largs

Thank you for supplying the pizzas for our family event at Balvonie House in Skelmorlie on Friday 16th June 2023.Pizzas were amazing, everybody loved them - service was fantastic and all 16 pizzas arrived bang on time, lovely and hot - superb quality.I would highly recommend!!!

The Viking

This is my Father inlaws favourite chip shop! Staff are always friendly, he always gets a fish supper which he always reccomends to everyone! Chicken breast nuggets are another favourite.Defenetly a must if you are ever in largs.Vegetarian options: They also sell pizza as well with a large variety of toppings.Kid-friendliness: Children love the big viking out the front of the chip shop,especially for a photo opertunity.Parking: Parking sometimes available outside, paid Parking over the road, take your time you will find a space,it will be worth it.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get into shop if in a wheelchair.

Blue Lagoon Fish & Chips (Largs)

This place has improved dramatically in the last 6 months or so. It was always ok but now I would put it down as the best fish and chip takeaway in Largs. Even better than Fish Works where the quality and size of fish has reduced. I guess they have new cooks. I mentioned this at the counter and Shawn was grateful for the feedback. Good quality deserves good feedback. Keep up the quality please!

The Paddle Steamer - JD Wetherspoon

Decided on the spur of the moment to drive to largs for a walk . Got there had a walk then Decided to go to the paddle steamer. Was exceptionally busy but got a seat and food and drink came surprisingly very quickly. Well done the management and team

Bosun's Table

What a huge difference since it's been taken over. Food is amazing and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We arrived and were attended to straight away. It was a glorious day so we sat in the outdoor seating area which is now much bigger. The coffee here is the best I've ever had. I'm looking forward to trying one of the new takeaway pizzas? and enjoying an ice cream ? from the new machine.

Curry King

Enjoyed meal from this place pizza was decent, the kebab was bang on would be nice to have it in the pitta bread or have on a naan . Would go back again good value for money.

Subway

The server was extremely friendly. Asked all of the customers about their day and was very warm.Food was served quickly and very fresh.Really excellent service. Much nicer than the subways I've used in Glasgow :)

Nardini's

Very popular. Didn't prebook but still managed to get a table. Had a light lunch. Lasagne with side salad and coleslaw was lovely. Everyone else had soup and a sandwich. All freshly made. Good service even though it was busy.
