We always make a detour to come through Lauder for our favourite pizza in the Scottish Borders. They also serve typical chip shop food too, run by two lovely Turkish guys.Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegetarian choicesParking: Bay straight outside the shop for 6 cars, despite the passive aggressive note on the neighbour's gate about not parking over their entrance, we've never seen anyone ever having the need to.

Where to start...Start by taking life insurance out..This is an insult to food to be called food...The so called kabab "meat" was grey... Grey in colour... No food group especially meat should be that colour. The "chicken" wasn't chicken nor was it originally cooked that month. Chips.. ,something that you think couldn't go wrong, were shocking.... I tried to find local defibrillator to revive them but I was too late. They were dead on arrival. The pakoras were black and looked like a mediaeval projectile.. basically don't bother.. choose life..
Lovely clean shop with pleasant staff and lovely food.

Great wee chippy. I had some loose change enough to get me chips where I stayed, but it turned out I was short for here. The guys were very willing to just take the smaller amount, but I don't like to feel that u was ripping anyone off. Even a customer was happy to help. I then remembered I had a £10 note in the back of my mobile. The guys serving were so obliging I'd give the a 6 out 5. Chips were lovely and hot. I will be back and with enough change lol

Awful chippy but they put my three year old book, the rat in the pizza oven. This chippy killed my 10 year old Guinea pig after I fed it a bit of my battered sausage and he blooming died. Never going back to this terrible chippy but giving good review as my mate Kirsty loves it.
