First visit. Meeting friends to have lunch. Good value for money. We had the set lunch menu. Four choices on each Starter/Main/and Sweet menu. Good service.Amazing wooden diningroom furniture, much handmade, by the owner. Some Tweed lined wall covering. Tasteful.Two lovely log burners, providing lots of heat!

Nice place to stop for a bacon roll and a coffee. Like that they do the fresh takeaway rolls. I usually try pick these up at local buchers but spotty dog is the lauder stop for me. Thank you!

Nice restaurant with friendly staff, good food and a homely feel. Proper big hearth as well! Food was a good price for quality and portions, kids meals were huge for my almost two year old but she obviously enjoyed it as she gave it a proper try. We will be back again@
