My friends and I had a wonderful experience at this cafe. We ordered a toastie, thinking it was vegetarian, only to discover later that it wasn't. It was entirely our fault for not thoroughly reading the menu. When we approached the staff about our mistake, they were incredibly understanding and kind. Not only did they offer us a replacement, but they insisted that it was their treat. We were genuinely touched by their generosity and understanding. The cafe's staff went above and beyond to make sure we left happy and satisfied, which speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service. We will definitely be returning to this cafe and recommending it to others. It's not just the food that's great here; it's the outstanding service that sets it apart.Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our day. We appreciate your kindness and hospitality.Highly recommended!

I bought a scone yesterday to take to a friend. The café is by the bus stop and I had a few minutes before it came. I had intended buying two, but when she told me the price, I nearly fainted £3.95!!!! £3.95 for ONE scone!! ( and a takeaway at that. I didn't even sit in. How on earth can that be justified? Are there gold flakes within the mix? A nice enough, cosy café ( with lovely staff) but massively over-priced. I'll purchase from the café neuk up the road - delicious scones at half the price!

I decided to take my mother in her wheelchair down the High Street for a coffee. However when we got to the granary there was no access for a wheelchair user unless we were seated outside in the cold? The staff made it clear that a wheelchair isn't suited to their cafe? I was and still am disgusted.

Totally overpriced. £8 for a cheese, ham and caramelised onion toasty. Would have been more acceptable if there had been some salad with it but alas, only the toastie on the plate. I know everyone is feeling the pinch, including cafes, bit their prices are taking the

A great coffee and food stop. There are plenty of vegan options and a great menu for that breakfast or lunch stop. Coffee is good and the cafe is dog

Over an hour for scrambled egg. Had to just leave without our food. Weren’t the only ones to just leave. Wasn’t very busy. In fact, when our order was “next”, we waited an extra half an hour before we left

Just had a coffee here, but it was well made and of a good standard - much better than any chain cappuccino. Staff were friendly and very helpful to other customers I saw come in during my visit (helping with buggies etc)

We enjoyed sitting at the outside tables, with the dog. Had cappuccinos and fruit scones. Scones were large, freshly baked and served with homemade raspberry jam. Service was quick and pleasant.

Pleasant atmosphere and good range of food on the menu, however several items not available. 2 families left without eating. I felt sorry for the staff, who were quite young and were very apologetic. Maybe because it was a bank holiday weekend they had had more customers than expected. Also, the menu was on brown paper with black ink - difficult to read for those with sight problems ( or like me, had forgotten their glasses!)

Takeaway is terrible, inconsistant service, sometimes rude. The quality of the food is going down hill while prices go up.

Nice strong coffee and a good selection of breakfast and lunch offerings. The warm cheese scone was tasty but huge, needed a doggie bag ! ? Will be back.

When you go somewhere new for brunch there are some classics you want to see on the menu, and some you have to taste, just to be sure they know how to brunch. Happy to say the Granary Cafe, with its own bakery behind it and excellent locally sourced produce did not disappoint. The Sour Dough Last Bread with Smoked Bacon and Maple Syrup was fabulous (photo doesn't do it justice due to the lighting and my phone not getting on!), wasn't too sweet and the bacon was thick and smoky with loads of flavour. The homemade 5 nut pesto baked eggs was also cracking and worth the 15 minute wait. Glen Lyon Flat White and single shot Oat Milk Flat Whites were similarly excellent, thoroughly recommend if visiting Linlithgow.

Coffee good. Food dreadful and overpriced. Ordered a chorizo and mushroom toasty for £8. Poor, poor toasty. Individual toasty. Small. No side salad or crisps ( I would expect this from an £8 toasty at least. Supermarket thin sliced chorizo. Small amount of tasteless cheese. 1 bit of mushroom advertised as garlic mushroom. I would expect it the bread to be fried or grilled but just some toasted bread. 1/10.

Had a takeaway coffee, would recommend!

Coffee was good quality and the server has good knowledge of the style of coffee that matched the bean. I always let the server choose my style and type of coffee and I was not disappointed. During my visit they only had cakes and soup so we were unable to try the food however the soup was good quality and portion size was decent. The second order of cake did take some time to arrive and I had to remind them something I seen another family have to do however in their defence I got the feeling something was happening behind the scenes in the kitchen and the staff were really friendly.
