68 High St, LinlithgowCame in with my dog on a small day trip from Edinburgh just to sit in and have a snack before going out for a walk and wow a young gentlemen served me and the service was great. Another staff member also saw me and my dog and gave her a puppacino, will happily come back!

117 High St, LinlithgowMy go-to Subway of choice. Depends on the parking which can sometimes be a bit of a hit or a miss. Shame, as I'd most likely go more regular. Staff are always very nice. Clean and tidy.
Menu could do with being changed up more often. Or new subs added. But it is what it is.
Never had any real complaints. Other than it being a bit pricey these days.

65-67 High St, LinlithgowWhen we arrived, we were told there was a 45-min backlog as chef was new. But we decided to stay. In general, the burgers were quite good. For me, the meat was a bit dry (I do like blue/rare meat) but my friend loved it. So kudos to the new chef.
The pub was really nice inside. Very traditional.

47 High St, LinlithgowStopped in here while on the Outlander tour in/near the highlands and had a good lunch. I had a Club sandwich, which was very good, accompanied by a salad and chips. Servers were very friendly and got us in and out very quickly.

Food is lovely, slightly small menu and could be difficult for someone who eats plain foods. A bit more on the expensive side but quality of food is good.
Toilets could do with a refresh but otherwise the restaurant is well kept and clean.
Staff were lovely and accommodating.

Felt very homely and welcoming from Alison and Ross with plenty of samples to try. Impressed with offerings for drivers so don’t be put off if you have to drive, it’s still 100% worth the visit

Champany Corner, Champany Inn, LinlithgowSlight differences in the food from previous visits in years past. Top class burger, chips very good although not as good as before the closure.
Meringue dessert nice, just not as good as prior to closure a couple of years back, smaller portion.
Great feed and best burgers around.

Hide Away Cafe
Beecraigs visitor centre, LinlithgowWe bring our dogs here offen for a doggy sausage and ice cream but this trip was going to be the last for Maddie our eldest dog who loves this place but sadly was booked in to be put to sleep (we wanted to take her to her favourite place beforehand)
The staff were so kind and even brought out free ice cream for Maddie and ran after us to inform us they had returned the fee of the doggy sausage to my card which was such a lovely gesture which meant so much…
In a weird (and wonderful) turn of events the vet who she was booked in to see noticed something different and the operation was cancelled and Maddie is back home! With us hopefully for many more months maybe even years who knows (shes 14)
The staff’s gesture was so appreciated and I hope they see this message!

Then lovely fresh baked scones finally followed with beautiful fresh homemade cakes. Plenty of tea with lots of choices. A gem of a place will definitely be back .

1 The Cross, LinlithgowWe randomly stopped in completely ravenous after a tour. We ordered the cream of mushroom soup with a cheese scone, side salad, and the warm vegetable bowl. The vegetable bowl is hands down the BEST warm grain bowl I’ve ever had! Everything is roasted perfectly, the flavors and textures are complex, and it wasn’t oily. I could eat this everyday for the rest of my life. I need the recipe!
The mushroom soup was equally delicious. Definitely try it if it’s the soup of the day! Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by this place! The staff is also very nice.
