Unfortunately we had a really bad experience here this morning, we'd asked to push some tables together but the waitress was extremely rude to my older mother in law - shouting at her in front of the whole cafe and leaving her in tears. It wasn't the rule which, although daft, I can respect. But an older woman was shouted at and embarrassed over a misunderstanding involving table positions. Sorely disappointed, had enjoyed coming here in the past but will go elsewhere next time.

Definitely scrumptious. Me and my wife had the beef burgers, seriously good. All the servers were brilliant, attentive and welcoming. Will be back for sure.

Lovely little friendly cafe. I had the full breakfast which was fabulous. All perfectly cooked. Friends had the lemon drizzle scones which they said were light and delicious (and huge!). Has a nice outside sitting area too for a nice sunny afternoon. Would totally recommend if you are at Beecraigs.

A return visit here ,usually for cake n coffee but tried breakfast this time as was staying on the adjacent campsite .Staff were welcoming and friendly as always and was very impressed with the freshly cooked breakfast .Had great filled rolls the day before in our motorhome and lovely French toast this morning .We were very impressed with the campsite so will be back for more breakfasts on return visits. Nice visit with a good view over the park and a great atmosphere. The menu is small but service was very good and prices not too bad for the quantity and quality. Handy for takeaway if your wandering the area and lots of parking in front.Parking: Just under 30 spaces so may struggle when busy.

A truly miserable wet morning but welcomed by lovely staff to the warm and cosy atmosphere of The Hideaway Café. Everything is immaculately presented in the Café. Shiny sparkly coffee machines. Beautifully clean tables and chairs. The sauce bottles all nice and clean on the tables. Gluten-free cake forks are in a paper bag away from other cutlery. Customers are always asked as to any allergies when ordering anything. High standards in cleanliness and customer service. Food served by the cook/chef wearing gloves. Excellent!Dietary restrictions: Excellent choice for those with gluten and lactose intolerance

This cafe is excellent for Coeliacs. I had confidence that the staff understood GF requirements and cross contamination risk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu is simple standard fare (burgers, chips, sandwiches, cakes, etc.). Orientated towards families and visitors to the Country Park. Stunning views over the Forth Valley, Pentlands and West Lothian.

Best scone I’ve had in a long time (Bakewell tart scone?) - and amazing jam too! Sat outside as no dogs allowed in the cafe. Great views ?

Super-friendly staff. Very helpful with my GF & veggie requirements. They even tolerated my weird coffee request with a smile. I’ve been a few times now and always found it really tasty.Vegetarian options: Gluten-free vegetarian options can be hard to find but I get a great breakfast or lunch here. Very tasty and I keep coming back.Dietary restrictions: Amazing place to eat if you’re gluten-intolerant. I’ve been a few times because it’s so easy for me to find something GF & delicious here.

Plenty of staff and very attentive and friendly. Toilets clean. Good selection of hot and cold drinks. We had a lovely day here so I opted for a cherry slush which came in a huge cup. The scone was amazing too, fresh and tasty. Seating indoors and outdoors.

3rd time I've been to this cafe when mountain biking round beecraigs park and 3rd time the service has been immense. I am coeliac and the options, staff awareness and quality of food is just great, all staff go out of that way to make you feel at ease and there are gluten free awards all over the walls, it really is a safe haven for coeliac sufferers, that said even if your not coeliac then this this is still great place to eat when you visit beecraigs, 5 stars as round they're doing a great job here and I'll be back every time we are in the area.
