We came here for my nieces birthday ..all the food we had was delicious and could not fault it at all ..the waiter Jim was very intentive and gave us a all a good laugh with his banter .. very clean place ..no issues at all ..

Had a couple of great meals at the West port, and can't really fault a thing,the food was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Martin who looked after us and is a great asset front of house. It is very dog friendly and even has a doggy menu.

We came in for dinner, food and drinks were all amazing, the staff also very attentive, Liam and Henry couldn't do enough for us. We both had steak which were cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend! Thanks Team

I come to the west port on a regular basis either for lunch or for dinner. I was here last week when the weather was hot and sat out in the beer garden, the atmosphere in the beer garden was amazing. Food is always amazing when I come here to the west port. I’ll definitely be back

We popped in for a light lunch and were not disappointed the staff happily seated us without a booking, and were so welcoming and chatty! The food was absolutely delicious, I had the chicken pie while my friend had the fish and chip, absolutely amazing. We brought my dog in to try the dog menu and I must say the staff love their dogs, straight away they gave her water treats and a bed! Overall an amazing experience , will definitely return!

Popped in for a bite to eat, and we were not disappointed. I had the Lamb shank special and the strawberry sundae with candyfloss, it was amazing! The staff were also so attentive and couldn't do enough for us Liam and Henry gave us a good laugh too! Definitely recommend great food and great staff.

From the time we arrived for one night , we saw a car park [public] behind the Place and was so worried about leaving the car ,We did NOT WANT TO STAY HERE ! I asked if all was well with the Car Park he said i have worked here for 6 years and no trouble , the problem is he NEVER STAYED THERE DURING THE NIGHT! We we where worried . Then we went to room 6 up the filthy stairs, thru the knocked about doors ,to a small room for 3 Adults ,and the Bathroom , no more than 3 feet wide and 5 feet long , just big enough for one ! I stayed awake all night worrying about the Car , after seeing all kinds of Filthy VAPS on the Night CLUB roof from weekend Parties . The evening meal we had LAMB RUMP and we sent it back uncooked !The breakfast at 0730am ? nearly never happened , we were down at 0730am , and ordered right away , the girl who cooked the breakfast came at 0830am , their was only 5 of us in , at 0830 am still no breakfast 2 WALKED OUT , AND WHERE DISGUSTED , LIKE US YOU COULD FIND no one about we eventually had ours at 0831 . THEIR WAS A CLEANER PRETENDING TO DUST THE PICTURES FOR NO REASON , THE PLACE WAS FILTHY , WE HAD TO SEARCH FOR SOMEONE TO HAVE OUR KEY and to se if we had a receipt [no receipt] , then two workman came to do the floor tiles whist we where eating , then we just scarpered along with the other guest . I want a REFUND IT IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED , YOU ARE A DISGRACE FOR SCOTLAND ,the other 8 Hotels were ok .
