The staff were nice but they forgot to give me one of the items, had run out of most food products, and my coffee got refunded as there was a hair in it. Pretty disappointing visit.

Book staff lovely but cafe staff today were so rude!! Got scolded with a passive aggressive remark for not ordering quick enough, instead of asking if we were going to (what if we accidentally thought it was table service?). Both staff on duty were rude on separate occasions approaching us, so it wasn't just a once off. Didn't feel welcome

A delightful little first floor Coffee Shop, offering a small but tasty selection of bakes & cakes, and of course delicious teas and coffees.And what could be better than enjoying some scrummy cake with your favourite hot beverage, while surrounded by all those books ? An all-round winner.
