Staff were very welcoming and great service - Natalie was extremely helpful and even suggested a few cocktails for me to try. Great size portions, steak was great and have recommended to a few friends to try out too! Only issue was we could hear the music from downstairs booming through but I guess it was almost 9 at night!

Tracey was amazing she decorated the tables and gave us cupcakes and a wedding album which was a lovely touch. Food was amazing as always there was 26 of us having food all different meals and everyone was brought out at same time and was hot. My guests were raving about how good the food was . Tracey and the rest of the staff were amazing and would recommend the Saltire to everyone x

Unit 24, Almondvale Centre, Almondvale S, LivingstonFood was so good! Was here with my bestie for my birthday dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. Bestie had a cheeseburger with chips and she really enjoyed her meal. I had sausage, mash and gravy which I thoroughly enjoyed too. We both had sticky toffee pudding with custard and we'd both go back just for that! Service was slightly slower than expected but it was busy and I'm assuming food is cooked fresh to order. Football was playing on the TV's which made the place very loud and conversation a little difficult. But as I think it's more of a social pub than a restaurant, noise should be expected when football is on. We ordered a Jamaican Sunrise cocktail each, as we've have them before and they are really nice. But it was served in a pint glass and the alcohol was over diluted with fresh orange juice. Overall, I do enjoy the Parry Lamp, as it's known locally, and will most definitely be back and I do recommend it.

But all dishes were good value. Had the same dish before and know that this wasn't typical standards and just a blip. Restaurant took the price of the dish from the bill (which was unexpected) and will still be back next time.

I purchased a coffee today from the costa machine, everything was going well until it came to putting the lid on, not the first time it has Happened to me either (don’t know if it just me but I swear the lids don’t always fit perfectly) BOOM!Coffee spilled everywhere all over floor and machine and some on me ?, a customer sales assistant rushed over to help clean up but I insisted I’d do it as was completely my fault.Once cleaned up I went to purchase another coffee as well.. I need my coffee and was willing to pay for 2.The customer sales rep seen this and offered to make me a coffee from her own pod machine in the back to save me paying for another.Legend! I never caught her name but she should be promoted going above and beyond like that for customers in a huge chain like shell is just unheard of.

Staff dealt with this immediately and could not have been more helpful. Lad serving had great cust service and perfect humour alongside this. Again a credit to Costa as this level of service is sadly lacking elsewhere. Female Manager/supervisor is clearly doing good job as she was there and assisted well. Keep up this level of customer care.

Oscars Pizza.Pasta.Burgers
Hawk Brae, LivingstonHidden Livingston gem. We had some excellent pasta dishes, the portion sizes were generous and the sauces were simply amazing, we couldn't get enough of them. The staff was very polite and helpful and the atmosphere was nice and laid back. Will definitely come back!

The Tower Bar
The Mall, LivingstonI was only in there an hr or so, passing time but as soon as i walked in it felt like a chilled atmosphere with what i assume were regulars just enjoying there friday afternoon. Barmaid was welcoming too. Music was good, pool table there and dart board, but if ya like a heavier dart to throw take ya own haha. All in all very pleasant time.

Almondvale Way, LivingstonVery welcoming service from the beginning. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced. Main course for one dishes was bland and the pasta mushy. But all dishes were good value. Had the same dish before and know that this wasn't typical standards and just a blip. Restaurant took the price of the dish from the bill (which was unexpected) and will still be back next time.
