Nice area, but one chef with a STINKING attitude.! The Patty on its own that was ordered by a Female with her son, was for our dog who had traveled from Glasgow down and was hungry. Also when someone asks for a Big Mac it doesn’t mean a cold stinking bun with a whole lettuce on top. You’re lucky a young lass was standing or else you would have got a mouth full ya cheeky wee s**t.

I stopped here briefly to have a quick bite to eat and refuel. I had the chozen noodles with a chicken breast and Katsu curry. I got the child’s portion as I didn’t want too much. It turns out this was enough for me. Very tasty and a big change from McDonalds or the Cornish Pasty place .

One of the better garages out there. Well stocked M\\u0026S products and the place has decent toilets.The staff are very polite and courteous, especially Marie who is awesome. Always makes me laugh. Good garage.

On arriving at this very busy McDonalds one would have assumed that due to their high volume of customer flow, one would expect to receive fresh food…. Alas this was not the case..! Both McCrispy chicken burgers were certainly crispy, even the interior contents of the burgers were overcooked and dry, so much so they both resembled “Tasteless Cardboard” ? The staff in attendance really couldn’t give two hoots about the rank crap they serve to their unsuspecting customers or about their positions within this company ! My advice is “ KEEP DRIVING PAST” until you reach the next services and hopefully what’s produced is at least edible ! If McDonalds are going to try and emulate KFC they REALLY need to learn how to cook chicken burgers , after all it’s really not rocket science !

I love a BP with a wild bean. Two best in Scotland are here at Annandale and over on the m8 at harthill. I would have taken photography of the massive bacon cheese turnover lol. It was really good.

Lovely service station; spacious, well signposted, clean and a lovely view. Went to MccDonalds, best one I’ve eaten in years - food piping hot and drinks fizzy!!! Spot on ?

I was lucky enough that I filled up £10 fuel in my car. I got into this station because I didn’t want to take up any risk to reach my friend in Carlisle. However later on after the fill-up engine management light started flashing up which is totally disastrous. Managed to take up to the local garage and the man said the fuel was contaminated and there has been misfires inside the cylinder. It costs me to empty the tank and new spark plugs. Absolute nightmare. My sincere advice is beware of the contaminated fuel & quality!!

Highly recommended stop on the M74. Wether you have a picnic or to eat Mac Donalds or others. Toilets very clean . There is also travelodge tope of overnight acomodación.

Where is sens connecting BP with Road Chief if You cannot pay for lorry parking on BP but must walk on the end of service to pay in WHSmith… on other place You can pay here and here.

The truck parking area is an absolute disgrace. Potholes etc everywhere. Clearly the revenue from parking is not used to upkeep the truck parking area.I doubt that the car parking area would be allowed to fall in to such a poor state.
