Cressfield Country House Hotel
B7076 Townfoot, LockerbieGoing to a Curling lesson in Lockerbie for our 17th wedding anniversary and stayed here overnight. The premises are immaculate (as was the room), the staff fantastic, the neighbourhood quiet, and the food lovely. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Dalton, LockerbieWe went there tonight and the service was great, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was good too.
We had 2 of the special starters and I had the Crispy fish which was amazing and nicely spicey and my partner had chicken curry which was again spicey and tasty. We will be going back.

The Black Bull
13 Station Rd, LockerbieMyself and my partner Louise stayed in Lockerbie on Hogmaney 2025...We found the Black Bull and asked the staff if we could bring our 2 small dogs Pru and Fia ( black toy poddles)
The staff were excellent and all the locals in the bar made us very welcome including Tony who sat and had a drink with us.
We all celebrated the bells together.
Fantastic wee pub fantastic staff and fantastic locals...

Ice Rink, 14 Glasgow Rd, LockerbieWhile visiting from Canada, I was attending a curling tournament this past weekend and had the absolute joy of eating at Jodie’s in Lockerbie. The service and food were great!! Lots of options and smiles!! I highly recommend stopping by if in the area - you won’t be disappointed!!

The Starfish Restaurant And Coffee Shop
112-116 B723, LockerbieMy wife and I have started to use ‘The Starfish’ as our go to stop for a foodie refuel when travelling up and down the M74. There’s plenty of free parking in Lockerbie and the food portions are generous and, more importantly, the chips are consistently great and the accompaniments very good. Don’t bother with service stations et al, if you need a break and food pull into Lockerbie and try here - I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Lucky Rainbow
46 High St, LockerbieI’ve been coming to Lucky rainbow for years, the food is great quality and always cooked fresh. I like to mix up my order and Billy is always happy to help out. The crispy chicken in chilli garlic sauce is one of the few things that I always come back too, I’ve lived in a few towns and cities across Scotland and this dish is one that I couldn’t do without and nowhere else does anything similar.
What I will say though is this is a family kitchen and as such doesn’t have a cast of thousands in it, if you don’t get your orders in early on a Friday and Saturday it can be a battle to get your order in. Use the Facebook page to put early orders in.

67 High St, LockerbieAn American tourist, I was passing through Lockerbie on a Wednesday morning in April, and I was meet with the absolutely kindest staff! Undoubtedly, I was not used to the level of detail in customer service! Having returned back to the States two weeks ago, my adoration for Greggs has continued to this day! Thank you for the wonderful service. You guys have a great team!

Kirkhill Bar and Brasserie
OYO Dryfesdale Hotel, Dryfebridge, Lockerbiewent on a coach trip to Skye, last overnight stop was the Dryfesdale hotel, the staff where helpfull, and pleasant . The room we stayed in was large and tastefully decorated, every thing you could need with lovely views of the grounds. The food was excellent could not be faulted. Overall a lovely place to stay.

9 Castle St, Lochmaben, LockerbieGood sized portions, fairly priced and reasonable quality. It is a local chippy not the Ritz but very friendly staff who make you feel welcome. If in the area, will definitely visit again.
