“Called here on our way to our holiday let. I've never walked in a pub and felt so welcomed in my life. The bar staff and locals were so happy and smiley. They give us water for our dogs (and a treat too). I truly could of sat there all day! Thanks for your hospitality.The Green's, plus Dennis and Dave (woof, woof) Retrievers.”

“We stumbled up this lovely bar after a sight seeing visit nearby, asked if they served food and they had a small menu which was good enough. Friendly barman and we ordered a bacon cheese burger with chip and onion rings to go with our beers. small pool table and darts to play with, even the regular customers were friendly.”

“Where do I start? The long vodkas are out of this world, the other customers are really friendly and the landlord heard me mention that I was staying in a hotel just out of town and rather than phone me a taxi, he give me a lift back. They were ordering a Chinese takeaway when I visited and they even offered to get me some!! These people in this establishment are lovely. Highly recommend this place”
