it’s a shame the owner of this shop doesn’t bother or acknowledge his daughters existence especially knowing that his daughters got put put into foster care and he did absolutely nothing. didn’t reach out at all during those years and could not care less. cheers dad ??

The people were nice, the cafe was clean, however the dirty dishes were on show for everyone to see on a side table. The food, looking around us I wondered why everyone was ordering fish and chips, we decided to order macaroni and chips, the chips were nice, but the macaroni cheese was tinned, it tasted tinned, I couldn't belive we paid £8.00 for tinned macaroni cheese with sprinkling of real cheese and chips. We expected home made macaroni and cheese for the price. I don't think we will come back here for a sit in meal in future.

My wife and I have started to use ‘The Starfish’ as our go to stop for a foodie refuel when travelling up and down the M74. There’s plenty of free parking in Lockerbie and the food portions are generous and, more importantly, the chips are consistently great and the accompaniments very good. Don’t bother with service stations et al, if you need a break and food pull into Lockerbie and try here - I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
Staff were friendly, courteous and generous with our portions of fish and chips. We donated to the Ukrainian War Appeal and shared our sad thoughts on this. Parking available nearby and we enjoyed the big fish with not too much batter. Would happily eat in next time if we get there earlier.
