Excellent haddock & chips although batter could be crispier.

Drove 45 minutes for the fish and chips here, and well worth it. There was a queue of 10 people ahead of me, but service was quick and efficient, so was served within 20 minutes. Apart from being super efficient, the staff were really friendly and chatty to everyone, whether regulars or visitors like us.The super fresh haddock broke into thick, tasty, meaty flakes. The batter wasn't soggy but had just the right crispiness without being crunchy and overdone. The chips were just perfect; the balance of the crispy outside and soft fluffy potato inside was sublime. From East Yorkshire I prefer my fish and chips cooked in beef dripping, but these were the best cooked in oil I've ever eaten. So just 10/10 rather than 11/10!

Never had a bad chippy from here, always hot, fresh and delicious and never greasy. Staff always friendly and there's always great deals on, a weekly staple now we live nearby.

New on the menu - the festive box. Chips, chicken, white pudding, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce and gravy. Absolutely outstanding. It's every bit as tasty as it sounds.

Can't beat fish and chips by the beach. These were great, flaky, moist fish in delicious crispy batter. Chips were excellent too, all cooked in beef dripping I think. Yum yum.
Could knock a star off for the wait we had tonight, but everything was being fried fresh and they were short a staff member. Despite being rushed off their feet they were very friendly and the food was worth the wait. I can see why they won the regional award ?Kid-friendliness: Decent sized kids meal with drink

Brilliant fish supper. There was a long queue outside when we arrived. However, the service was very efficient and the suppers well worth waiting for. This was the last evening of our holiday and was a great treat. We will definitely use this chippy again when we return to Lossie next September. Thank you.Parking: Plenty on street parking.

First time at this chippy. Fish and chips and a kingrib for a decent price. It didn’t take long for the order. Big portion of chips with awesome fish.
