Visited there on a trip on The Jacobite. Looks like a decent but ordinary cafe from the outside, but try it. That was better than I’ve ever had anywhere and friendly service too.

Nice folks….eventually….Forgive my humour, I was talking about friendliness, not service ?

Fantastic service and the food was delicious.

Ordinary cafe. Bought a breakfast roll with filling £3 + £1, yes that's really how it's listed on the menu! There's a fantastic second hand book shop in the same building which the lady in the cafe will take payments for if no-one else is available. Definitely recommend making the time for the book shop.

Exceptionally friendly, very appreciative and nice to their customers. Very close to the Jacobite train for a bite to eat when you arrive. Bright cheerful and clean. States that they appreciate your patience while they are short-staffed but still received food in a timely manner. Good prices, we ordered the fish and chips and it was fabulous. We have a large group and everyone enjoyed our experience there!

The women were sooo rude. My god what is wrong with some people. Really bad experience. ( I didn't get the womens name, she was wearing a blue t shirt , had dark brown hair and over weight.)

Sausage sandwiches were great. Staff not very friendly but maybe she was having an off day.

Lovely place to grab a quick bite to eat. Link sausage rolls my go to!

Would have been okay but the lady working lost it at me for using a plug. Her sign said not to unplug anything already plugged in... So I used a free plug. This in the end is a bummer for the cafe as i had hours of work to do... They missed out of hours of coffee and tea drinking along with lunch and snacks - silly move.Ps bacon was abit undercooked ?Edit after reply from owner -After a reply like this I'm happy I gave you a one star. When choosing to buy what was a subpar coffee at an expensive price - we're hoping for more than just the food and drink... We're looking for a service too. You have to provide more than just the convince of waiting 10 minutes for a cup of hot brown water - an easy no brainer is... Plug sockets. It's like going to the pub and it being empty just you and the bar man. No atmosphere, live music, singing... Nothing - what's the point... Go to the co op and buy a pack of 4 cannies for the price of one pub beer (or in your case a whole pot of coffee for the price of one cup)

It’s a rather simple restaurant with okay service, but boy was the fish and chips good! The fish was so soft it almost melted in your mouth.

Not very friendly, no good coffee, small selection of foods, no good jam, no fresh scones. Everything seems not really bad, but not really good quality either. Not particularly low prices. The room, on the other hand, is bright, clean, modern.EDIT: To clarify, it was not actually unfriendly or even rude or anything like that, just less welcoming and caring than any other place we've been to on our 2 week tour. That said, we found Scotland in general particularly friendly, so complaining on a relatively high level here.
