We had a pleasant stay at this B&B. Pleasant and clean room with a particularly cozy bed.Well located, facing the bay and close to the center. Our host even prepared a takeaway breakfast for us due to our very early departure.I recommend

Lovely place looking out across the port to Skye.Great host in Sandra who was very welcoming.High quality room and impressive attention to detail, very good toiletries.Breakfast excellent - my smoked haddock amongst the best ever. Only slight gripe - bacon at breakfast was smoked, my partner not a fan of smoked so knowing in advance or having the choice would have been good.Highly recommended

I stayed at the Springbank with my father in Sept 2022. We can not rate this beautiful home highky enough! We received such a warm welcome and were able to check into our room early - which was hugely appreciated and stopped us having to lug our backpacks round the town. The room itself was beautifully decorated, everything was such high quality - the decor, the furniture, the finishing touches, the Toiletries, everything was first class. Beautifuk artwork all round the walls and the hallway and breakfast room were equally gorgeous and so tastefully decorated. It is clear that the owner has fabulous taste and style as every details had obviously been chosen with care and an artful eye. The breakfast itself was outstanding. Pre ordered the night before, it was simply perfection. We would without a doubt stay at springbank again and have in fact already recommended it to friends who are due to visit the town soon.

We have visited many places around the world and stayed in a variety of b&bs hotels etc and this was one of our best stays. Thank you. Large comfortable bed, view of the harbour from the room. Friendly welcome and breakfast service, delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. (Loved the shortbread biscuits). Just a short walk into Mallaig.

Springbank Guest House.5***** star hotel standard in Mallaig, Scotland. Fantastic location: Springbank Guest House has a Truly iridescent view across the harbour where the fishing boats land their catch and the ferry can take you on further adventures throughout this beautiful picturesque, mystical country of Scotland over to the Isles of Skye. Canna, Muck, Rhum and Eigg. Everything you need restaurants. shops, trains are literally a 2 minute walk. Sandra and her staffs' hospitality are really lovely, everything you require from a top class establishment is catered for 5 star experience. The breakfast includes choices of fruit juices, fresh fruit salad. Croissant, toast and a selection of butter and marmalade and jams. Porridge with cream and honey. A very large full cooked Scottish breakfast, fresh kippers and more… tea and coffee. Springbank en-suite spacious rooms are beautifully decorated and include Scottish fine soaps, biscuits and crockery and original art and limited edition prints. The standard of cleanliness is extremely high. The best sleep I have ever had. Parking is free adjacent to the Springbank Guest House. I would fully recommend Springbank Guest House when visiting Mallaig in Scotland. I know I will definitely return to Springbank Guest House soon. Thank you. A Brown.

Wonderful views of the seafront and very nicely decorated and comfortable rooms. Owing to some disruptions to our travel plans we had arrived fairly late and had to leave very early in the morning. Thankfully this was made easier by having a good sleep in a very comfortable bed. Sandra was lovely and prepared us some breakfast to take away with us for our early morning train, which was fantastic. I would highly recommend!

Lovely lovely guesthouse. Rooms are impeccable, bed was comfy. But it’s the little touches that made the difference: locally sourced art, tweed cushions, fantastic toiletries using local kelp. The breakfast was amazing too: have both the full breakfast and the smoked haddock: amazing stuff and lovely service. Would highly highly recommend. Opt for the harbour facing rooms and watch the sun set right in front of you.

My two daughters booked a train trip from Glasgow to Mallaig as a birthday treat as I had wanted to do this train journey and it was great. They booked us into the Springbank Guest House for an overnight and I couldn't fault it. From the moment we entered you could see it was a quality Guest House we had a lovely front room spotlessly clean and comfortable overlooking the harbour and with views over to Skye. Great choices on the breakfast menu and it was fresh and plentiful. Would certainly recommend.

Have stayed here a couple of times with friends. Only a couple of years ago is was £60 a night. Now with an added toilet in the room it is £115. They advertise FREE breakfast and FREE parking. Parking is actually on the road, and breakfast (for what it is worth) may be included, but is certainly not free. I used to get a full English breakfast here, but now it is just cheap continental and for the same price. I am also concerned about the lack of privacy in the rooms. On the surface, Sandra is friendly and welcoming, but all considered I shall not stay at Springbank again.
