I hate leaving bad feedback but I'm so disgusted with my experience of this place..I popped in here for a breakfast roll & a cup of tea, the roll was disgusting, it wasn't cooked & after 2 bites I couldn't eat it, even the look of it was making me sick..I said to the girl at the counter that I couldn't eat it & there was no apology & charged me £9.37..I can honestly say this is the worst place I've been in, it's absolutely terrible..avoid

Most unwelcoming place were ever been to and the only unpleasant part of our train ride.Turned down in the rain last Friday by some stocky chap in shorts only because we wanted desert and tea and it wasn't even crowded. Great way to welcome visitors to your town. We'll happily spend our money elsewhere! ?

Stopped for refreshments after a train journey from Fort William. Good range of whiskies so we had to sample some which were excellent.

Lovely food, excellent and efficient staff who dealt with a lunchtime post jacobite rush with ease and professionalism. Didn't have to order on an app - went up to the till. Very busy but food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Salad was especially tasty. Pricing a little expensive, but in line with a tourist spot and pricing nowadays. Would recommend.

Great wee cafe, stopped in after the Joacobite train for a quick lunch. Try the Cullen Skink, was brilliant. Quick service and happy staff

Lovely cappuccinos (has oat milk if intolerant to dairy) and lovely cakes! Friendly service. Dog friendly.

Would give one star but two of our party ordered sandwiches and they looked good. The rest of us ordered off the specials board, two squid one venison board. For 11.50 a pop we got what I wouldn't even call a starter sized portion. It was tasty don't get me wrong but I left and went to the bakery over the road to buy a focaccia which was massive and amazing.Save yourself the disappointment and go straight to they bakery not this ripoff. We live on Skye and there seems to be a theme of places overcharging for tiny portions, probably because they know the tourists will keep coming.

Paid £63 forFish and chipsJacket with cheese and beansToastie4 cans pop2 slices of cakeChips not cookedWoman licking fingers, whilst cooking as you can see inside - yes it was busy. Yes different tour groups arrived at same time - but this is your business, you should be prepared for busy service times. Insane prices for what you get - a classic tourist trap

Had lunch here during Jacobite train trip to Mallaig. Quick and friendly service and great tasting food. Best club sandwich I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend for a visit

My mother and I had a bite to eat here. Both opted for the Cullen Skink soup and then shared a carrot cake. The items we had were lovely, soup was nice and hot, carrot cake moist. We saw other items being delivered to tables and they looked good too. The food is in my opinion quite expensive here but there was no where else open to compare to. Like most tourist spots the venue simply has a captive audience. I’ve seen some of the feedback on this forum but have to say our experience was fine. Friendly staff and what we ate, although a tad pricey, was nice.

Absolutely disgusting experience … we went in for some food and something to drink, the staff said they are dog friendly … me and my 2 dogs are sat down quietly, getting ready to order, until one of the workers young child comes in riding in bright green peddle bike and the wheels are noisy on the floor, which made my dogs bark. We went to leave because we were FULLY aware our dogs are barking and didn’t want our dogs to continue barking … on the way out, I just tried to explain that it was the bike they were barking at, not the child, only to be told ‘this is my cafe’ ‘I’ve had collies before I know they are highly strung’ … yours might of been, but mine are not highly strung at all, the noise simply scared them (the 5 month old puppy was that scared he didn’t want to walk past the bike to leave) just a simple ‘don’t worry about it’ and a smile would of been sufficient given you can see we are leaving anyway … I have never met anyone so rude before, absolutely disgusting person who should not have a cafe if this is how they speak to people.
