Lovely little cafe. Well worth a visit. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, the decor was lovely and the food was amazing. We will definitely make the detour to return.

Absolutely disgusting food. I ordered fish just to find out that it was actually fish fingers that were watery inside so obviously defrosted. Apparently it says somewhere in small letters on the menu. I really don’t know how you can serve fish fingers in the cafe… My gran is visiting and we stop on the way to edinburgh to have a quick bite to eat and it was not a great experience for her. At the end we found out that it’s cash only (no one informed us on the arrival). Staff was not helpful at all. We ended up paying 40 for a couple fish fingers and a frozen burger too. Avoid !

This place is a little shabby looking, the table was sticky and the decor was in need of upgrading. The first waitress was a bit taken aback when i said i didn't want to sit at a tiny table by the door and reluctantly seated us at another table.Service was fine and prompt. We had mushroom souo which tasted better than it looked but the chunk of bread was vile,it tasted like burnt caramel. My husband had the cheese and ham toastie but felt ill later on.My tea was tepid which was strange. His coffee was not hot either.Prices were fine.Service was acceptable but not outstanding.I wouldn't hurry back.

Really cute place. Excellent service. Clean and friendly. Local art for sale on the walls and around the café. It is dog friendly. We don't have one, but don't mind sharing out space with them.
Complete waste of money and utter disappointment. I don’t know how it’s possible to mess up a Scottish breakfast but this place achieved it… I asked for a full breakfast which only came with tea and the waitress would not swap this for a coffee, this was extra. Overall, overpriced and poor quality of food
