The Old Stables Inn Beattock

Very friendly pub, great food, dog friendly to, locals were very welcoming. We phoned ahead and were allowed to park up overnight in our small camper. Thank you so much.

Excellent food and good Porton size served in a clean and tidy manner.Toilet also immaculately kept which gives me great encouragement to eat in places who look after that facility as it gives me confidence in the kitchen which is not visible.Great value and highly recommended.

Hazel Bank Bed & Breakfast

The owner ( Ruth ). really goes above & beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. She knows pretty much everyone in Moffat, which made my stay even more pleasurable. I will definitely be staying again if i am up that way.

Very nice afternoon tea for 2, one of them gluten free. Gluten free option was very nice. Refills of tea/coffee readily available at no extra cost. Price of afternoon tea a little inflated I think, but a treat.Dietary restrictions: GF option for afternoon tea was tasty and varied.

Claudios Restaurant

A fantastic dining experience. We met up here and were met with a friendly greeting - the staff were very polite and friendly.An extensive menu choice, all of which is great value.The restaurant filled quickly and was very clean and tidy - the food was well presented and did not fail - all meals were delicious.We'd definitely return here, you can't go wrong.

Star Hotel

An excellent find just 2 miles off the A74(M) in Moffat. A warm welcome at the World’s Narrowest Hotel. The food was hot, fresh and homemade. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Mutchies Munchies

Lovely little cafe. Well worth a visit. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, the decor was lovely and the food was amazing. We will definitely make the detour to return.

Black Bull Inn

A casual visit to the Black Bull Inn, Moffat during our first proper trip away with our Golden Retriever Dog. We called in for a quick bite to eat as we saw the advertisement board outside which said dogs are very welcome. What an absolutely amazing place packed full of olde worlde charm ! We were made very welcome in the main bar, as was our doggy, who was given treats and a bowl of water straight away. All the staff were superb, as was the meal. We would certainly go back and recommend this gem to anyone.

Moffat Woolen Mill restaurant

The food as usual was lovely, however the last few times we've been in there was no filter coffee available.We were told when we visited yesterday it was for the buses only!As soon as the first bus drew up the filter coffee machine was put on.I feel this should be made available to everyone, it is on the menu board after all.Now charging 10p a satchet for ketchup.

Spice India

I wasn’t expecting much based on some of the reviews, but I was really impressed.We ordered Kajoo Masala ChickenTikka and Dharoo Brandy Lamb and both dishes were superb. Very flavoursome and excellent quality.I’m fussy about my curries as I live near Bradford, but Spice India was excellent.

Chen Wok

Slipped up with the orders a couple of times. (Just a grammar and phone thing really!) Need some magazines or a telly to watch whilst waiting for orders. Other than that, the staff are courtious and friendly . ???❤️?

Best Pizza And Kebab House

Serendipitous discovery, late at night in a new town, hungry and wet. Great food, freshly cooked and the best prices. The manager let us sit in, despite being about to close. Best Haggis that I've ever had and superb fish and chips. Chips were well cooked, too, which is a bugbear of mine.
