“My first time here at this great pub at Moniaive during their annual folk festival, there was great session music by wonderful musicians in the bars and café areas during the whole weekend...
Also at the rear of The George a stage was erected on the lawn with bands also playing throughout the whole weekend...
There was a very welcoming atmosphere by all the very friendly local people who embraced the whole event...
I'm definitely going to visit this pub on a return visit when it's not a busy weekend, especially to saviour the atmosphere of the area in the Dumfries and Galloway hills of Scotland...
Come and visit this beautiful area and don't forget to pop into The George...
