Clean lovely pints, beautiful nicely decorated pub and the staff are great. Nice selection of whiskeys, rums, gins and vodkas as well as a range of cocktails that are just ok. They also do snacks and small meals. The bar area is a bit tight with not much room but they have a small lounge that's very comfy as well as a pretty gazebo space. I do not like the way the owners speak to or about their staff and for that I give the "soothie" a 1.

OK so me being a woman on her own....sometimes the stigma sticks from years ago (woman can't go in pubs alone) but after a nice Walk to the wildlife centre at montrose basin and meeting lovely staff there I thought....nope I'm gonna be brave and go in...and my god what a welcome! I was made to feel so welcome I had more than 1 ? x love it!! Fantastic staff and fantastic regulars. Had a great time...thank you so much! And as I said "I will definitely be back"Its a huge 5 stars from me, a random visitor from dundee made more welcome than some dundee pubs make you feel ? yay ???
Nice staff, good beer,lovely cocktails, and cheese platter. What else do you need for a sunny afternoon. Great little place.
