OK so me being a woman on her own....sometimes the stigma sticks from years ago (woman can't go in pubs alone) but after a nice Walk to the wildlife centre at montrose basin and meeting lovely staff there I thought....nope I'm gonna be brave and go in...and my god what a welcome! I was made to feel so welcome I had more than 1 ? x love it!! Fantastic staff and fantastic regulars. Had a great time...thank you so much! Lovely traditional Scottish pub they also have room to rent upstairs that are comfortable and good value for money . Bar staff are lovely also Adrian and the landlady Tracy are super friendly and welcoming
