I ordered the Bhuna with rice and a roti . I can safely it was the blandest curry I have ever tasted!Very watery, it tasted mildly like tomato and not much else. The chicken in the curry was over cooked and had just been boiled in the sauce, no marinate or char or anything.I ordered a plain roti on the side and it was the most flavoursome part of the meal.Save your money and just get a jar of curry sauce or a curry ready meal instead, they have more flavour and don't cost you £17.

Such lovely service, very warm and welcoming.Food was amazing, really good. Lamb was excellent and very tender.Really enjoyed it here, would come again.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is available with vegetable or paneer.

Went there for dinner. Expected an indian taste for the food but unfortunately it's all altered for scottish taste. Indians don't go there if you are looking for at least something 50% indian. The food is just sweet and there is nothing spicy. I don't blame the owners but that's what sells here. Anyways I ordered chicken tikka bitiyani, samosas and chicken platter. Platter was somewhat better that the rest of the food. If you are looking for something authentically indian , I don't suggest this restaurant for you.

The food is good and the staff are friendly but the place is far to cramped there wasn't enough space on the table for the food. The table was pushed tight against us and there was no elbow room and I mean none it really made it a horrible experience just wanted out as fast as

Food was lovely. Starter mixed pakora was really small considering there were 2 adults n.2 kids. I think we got 1 pakora each lol. Customer service was good, with staff quite attentive to our needs. But expensive for what we got, but atleast food was very nice. Need to modernise the billing system. Hand written scribbled receipts which you can't make out. Portions very small. Had great hopes for this place, but overall feel a bit ripped off. Won't recommend.

Didn't need to book as we went early on a Friday (opens 4pm). Big choice of curries, from old favourites, lots we'd never come across and some really good chefs specials. Comfortable, and the service was very quick and friendly. Definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Paneer available in most of the curries.

first time eating her food excellent service perfect only criticism its a small venue tables too close together could almost taste what the next table was eating but definatley be
We had ordered the food 2 hours prior to collection and had informed that we will confirm the exact time of collection when we are 15 minutes away from the restaurant. We did call them to confirm when we were 15 minutes away and they said it was ok to reach by then. When we turned up at the restaurant, we were told that the order was not ready and it would take 45 minutes. When asked further they started blaming us that we never confirmed the order. If it was not confirmed from us, they could have told the same when we called them 15 minutes prior to reaching. When we started questioning them, we were literally asked to "get out". Have never seen such rude behaviour and inefficient staff before. Customers need to teach these people that if they don't behave professionally, they can't be in business. Please avoid this place like plague!

Ordered a takeaway for 8pm, arrived at 1955 to understand the food was not ready. Tried to understand what went wrong but was shouted out of the restaurant by the owner, who said "get out"

Great little Indian restaurant, slightly old fashioned but nevertheless friendly and enjoyable. Chicken Tikka was great!

Another great trip to the Indian Villa. Got a nice table for two at the window and were very quickly supplied with two cold pints. We shared a starter Platter for 2 and everything on it was superb - plenty for the two of us to get through. I then ordered a Lamb Parsee and it was amazing. The soft lamb just melted away! Garlic naan excellent too. Great service, great food, great pints! Perfection!
