Raven's Cliff

We have visited a few times now and the food has always been excellent. Not had a long waiting time for it to be delivered to the table. Staff are very nice and friendly. Food not expensive compared to other places. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.Vegetarian options: My granddaughter has an a strict eating diet and they could accommodate her.

Wok World

This is my go-to for Chinese take away. The food is always absolutely delicious and such fantastic value for money. The crispy shredded beef is to die for and the salt and chilli chips are absolutely stunning.

China Gardens

Used to go here years ago growing up in NS, between moving few times in last 20 year i've hardly been back but passing tonight i popped in cos temporarily back living in the area n glad i popped in. I coulda talked to the woman who served me aw night, sorry i never got ur name, top class service & sitting enjoying my curry the now, absolutely superb. China Garden used to be my regular place 20 year ago. Think i'll need to come back more often. Great food & amazing service. Cheers

Pepe's Piri Piri - Motherwell

My "go to" for a quick bite to eat. Always consistently good. I've never had a bad meal. Staff are always pleasant and helpful plus it's an open kitchen and you can see everything that's going on with how your food is being prepared. Recently completed my loyalty card to get the full chicken. Don't let that put you off, it's not actually a whole chicken. It's essentially the pieces of chicken, legs and breast that would make up for being a whole chicken. It was all cooked to perfection. Great flavour through the chicken and crispy skin!! My 3 children much prefer eating here than KFC or McDonalds. The food is always cooked well, tastes good, is healthier, not greasy and oily and the chips are always hot, crispy and never floppy

Greggs

My favourite greggs! I need my coffee fix before work and I always stop here. Staff are amazing and the shop is spotless! Loads of great deals and food as you expect from the company. X

Plutus Fish & Chips

Plutus serves best fish and chips by a million miles and the staff are always courteous and pleasant.Their oven baked pizza is also superb.Everything Plutus does is to the very highest standard.Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Bombay Cuisine

Customer service was excellent.Got a mixed hoggi and was not expecting much. Donner kebab meat maybe slightly above average. Chicken tikka was excellent. Well filled and very tasty. Only downfall was the menu said it was served on a chapati, but was served on a standard wrap.Great to have the parking to the rear of the show.

Indian Tandoori

Kebab meat is the best I’ve ever tried great food and lovely staff, fast deliveries, good chips could go on forever. Guy at the front with the combed backed hair is a pure gentlemen and good guy. Must visit best in Scotland

Tony Macaroni

Only customers in on a Wednesday afternoon. Service was very good. Food was well above average. Very good value lunch menu. The music was so loud that the place was like a nightclub through (and I am not old).

Indian Villa Restaurant

Such lovely service, very warm and welcoming.Food was amazing, really good. Lamb was excellent and very tender.Really enjoyed it here, would come again.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is available with vegetable or paneer.

Great subway! No issues at all, the service was quick even during the busy lunch hour. Food is good, store is clean, service is quick and staff are friendly. Always go in here for my lunch!

Friendlies

No had one out of here for a few yr .due to all holytown ones being shut last Wednesday or a wouldn't have been. But was fantastic. Staff really freindly in friendlies ?

Hup Lee Buffet Restaurant

So came back to Glasgow to visit family & friends. Nipped in here for a bite to eat with some friends food was lovely & a nice veriety Service was great aswell will deffo nip in here next week with the wife before we head back home.

Singhs Tasty Villa

Definitely the best punjabi food around Scotland. Visited this place everytime I'm around Scotland. On Each occison Singh has deliveried the best quality of apna food and service. Home made meat dishes specials are to die for! You know your curry is right when there's hardly any grease coming out not like many of these so called takeaways that drench the curry in oil.Ask for a special curry and yourll be please. Honestly wish this place was closer to home. This type of food is rare to come across and im so glad I bumped in to this jem of a takeway!Thumps up completely :)

Always enjoyed any food ordered from here. Salt + chilli dishes are always enjoyable ?Parking: Parking is okay when not busy however if ots a busy time of day or weekend it can be difficult to get parked outside.

Good Will

Really good food, very friendly staff and you never need to wait too long. Salt and pepper chicken balls and the battered salt and pepper chips covered in curry sauce is a must.Parking: Small amount of street parking out front or a small carpark around the back of it.

Indian Chef

The menu confused a little when using the search bar so ended up with a curry that had allergens in it for me phoned and explained and was replaced with another with an extra delivery charge and very small supplement. Cosy little pub in the Hart of Motherwell. Plenty of selections of beers and spirits to keep you filled whilst tapping your toe to the variety of music genres that are played amongst the atmospherics.Food is excellent and priced very competitively with surrounding eateries.I'd go back again 100% and would also recommend others to go if they are in the area also.

The Railway Tavern

Went in with my mum for mother's day for a wee change. Nice crowd, friendly atmosphere. Nice staff. Quick service. Had 3 courses each and drinks-well worth money, absolutely stuffed, food was amazing. Great if ur in to Watch the football or have a nice wee meal.

New Century

Great local bar with a friendly atmosphere and staff. Beer garden providing plenty of outdoor seating with covered areas and heaters. Live music at weekends from some amazing bands that will get you singing along or up on the dance floor. A proper pub for everyone to enjoy.

Burns Tavern

Great owners great staff great customers, relaxed friendly atmosphere never once felt unwelcome.. highly recommend it its a great wee pub full of friendly folk, only gave 5 star review because 10 stars wasn't an option! Never had a bad time there, great pint of Guinnes?

The Bellside Inn

I was one of a *very* wet and bedraggled group of walkers passing through Bellside. The pub was closed and the landlord was sitting in his van outside about to drive off, but after a brief conversation he opened the pub up just for us, made us tea and coffee without even charging ("we don't usually sell it"!), procured hot food for us and opened the bar so we could buy drinks and bar snacks. He wasn't even phased by the puddles of water we left on the floor and put on the heating so we could warm up and dry out a bit, before offering us a lift in his van. What an absolute hero - a man of the highest calibre and a credit to the community and the country of Scotland.

Upper Crust

Excellent food, prices, and service. One of the best square slice and onion rolls I’ve ever tasted. And I’ve tasted a few over the years. A brilliant take away.Parking: Plenty of parking places around the shop.

The Railway Tavern

This pub takes the phrase, "Compact & Bijou" to the extreme. We were recommended to visit by Stuart of the Kinneil Brew Hoose (also reviewed on Yelp). An old pub, the main bar area is pretty cozy to say the least. About the size of a decent double bedroom. Despite this, I was assured by one of the welcoming regulars that they recently had 36 people in at one time. He did admit however that, "they all knew each other very well by the end of the evening". With an open fireplace in the room, I was also advised of the system adopted on a cold day where everyone periodically shuffles round clockwise to avoid some poor soul getting toasted by the flames. We enjoyed a chat with the landlord and regulars whilst sipping a few bottles of Caer Edin Dark from the aforementioned Kinneil Brew Hoose. The 5 star rating reflects the friendliness of all we met and the undoubted character of the place. I highly recommend a visit to this pub for everyone but the unfortunately claustrophobic.

Went in with my colleague this morning and had breakfast roll and a cake each, with a tea and a can… incredibly reasonable price, I’d go as far as to say cheap at £7odd each considering the food was of exceptional quality!!We will be back… probably daily now we know about you!

I just want to say that this is the best Chinese takeaway I have had in year will be ordering from here now on the best is the curry’s and salt and chili, staff is wonderful helpful and very nice ???

New Jade House

Great deep fried chicken satay served here. It's amazing; something I'd highly recommend. However, lovely takeaway cuisine. Parking is to the side of the buildings, which feels at night a bit dodgy due to the lighting.

Stuck in with covid n thought id try this local business for first time. Glad i did. The pizza (thin base/spicy chicken) was excellent. First time i have used Urban Spice and il be back in future. Appreciate the delivery driver leaving at door as i am isolating with covid. Once im better il give u a tip for a great service. Thank u

The Brandon Works - JD Wetherspoon

It's a Wetherspoons, so we know what to expect. That being said, it does need a slight freshen up decor-wise. Staff were polite and helpful. Was also reasonably cheap.

This has to be the best takeaway I've ever had and I'm in my 60s and have eaten all over central Scotland. The meals are delicious and are not salty as you often find. Prices are great and the service is superb. My family and I have tried a varied selection from the menu and everything is great. Such a good food place.
