Lovely Chinese restaurant located in Motherwell centre. Excellent express lunch menu; 2 courses for £10.95. Food is extremely good quality and service is exceptional. They really take care of you and also provide you enough space you don’t feel rushed. Great service, can’t fault it.

We have been going to this establishment for a very long time now and always find the food and staff to be high quality and never have had any problems as for the last review it sounds fake and not true

Oh dear, what a disappointment! Satay sauce watery a two chicken skewers served in the sauce, what is that about? Chips were dry and over cooked. Chicken curry was bland and all other kinds of tasteless. Mandarin you have to do better than this, won't be back, it was like setting fire to a twenty quid note

I would have put no stars if I could. I had a severevallergic reaction, because they gave me the wrong order. Overcharged my friend who paid because I had to go to hospital. She tried to complain and they blocked her number. They then tried to take money from her account. The female server threatened me and was abusive. I also know that th hygiene levels are very poor. Avoid. With your life.

AVOID,AVoid, avoid, avoid. I have no more words to say. I nearly contacted authorities. I felt threatened by the female who served me. We asked for water so my friend could take needed medication and she refused. I have a stammer and she ridiculed me. Discraceful. This is the original Karens diner

What can I say. I was very ill. Severe allergic reaction due to the wrong food being served. Which shouldn't have been difficult as there were only 1 other table of diners. Says everything. Legal proceedings are in the pipeline

This used to be a favourite haunt of mine years ago, but it really has gone downhill. The first thing I noticed on arrival was how shabby the furniture is. The place also needs decorated and just had an overall feeling of being tired. This wasn’t helped by the fact that it was cold. The only heating visible was a couple of small fan heaters that had no hope of heating it up. On first appearance the lunch menu looked like good value at £9.95 for two courses. However, there was a very limited choice of main courses. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and my wife had to ribs. The soup was overly packed with noodles and chicken which meant there was very little broth and it was only luke warm. My wife enjoyed her ribs. For mains I had the Peking chicken and my wife had the chicken curry. She said the meat was bland and unseasoned, but the sauce was ok. My dish wasn’t that great and I ate less then half of it. When the waitress came to collect the plates she asked if anything was wrong. When we said to her what was wrong she said was that she would let chef know. We asked for the bill and left. With so many good Chinese restaurants in Lanarkshire I would think that this place might struggle to continue unless something is done about heating it and paying more attention to the food. We certainly won’t be back.
