Chips were absolutely awful, both my friend and myself ate about 4 or 5 chips and binned the rest. Avoid as it's not onestis anymore.

Bought a snack box and a haggis pudding and everything was bland. Plus the bottle of juice with the snack box you can’t choose, it’s just a bottle of red

Still a good chippy. Lots of others around have really dropped their quality, so this is the only place we currently use. Nice fish, great chips, quick and friendly service.

Waited ages for our delivery.the food was stone cold when we eventually got it.Didnt really matter though as the order was wrong anyway. Not worth even complaining about when you read reviews on the managers attitude

Has really went down hill since it was the small shop in Motherwell town centre Ordered a fish supper waited ages cause the person serving had went out for a smoke and had to wait on them coming back even though food was ready and then got home and the fish was just a white mush no flavour in it at all am guessing it was really cheap fish. The chips weren’t much better

Ordered a delivery tonight and paid just under £10 for a mixed kebab to recieve a chicken tikka barely there kebab...nothing mixed about it apart from the mix up and leaving half the ingredients out of the order. Gutted as this is our favourite takeaway but will be shopping around from now on

Went in last night at 9:20 to get a pizza.Was told they weren't making anything fresh so I could have a king rib, strak pie or mince pie as that was all they had...............I obviously declinedAbsolutely dreadful service with 40mins until closing time

The Rex Cafe is an excellent place to go have a cheeky treat of ice cream or even an exquisite meal after a long day.Vegetarian options: The Rex Cafe are very well adjusted for any food preferences and are ready to serve a meal according to your dietary requirements if your vegetarian or just a normal meat lover the make sure there is options on the menu for everyone and I'd recommend this place to anyone.Kid-friendliness: The staff are very lovely towards the kids whenever any are in sitting in or just with a parent, the menu even has a lovely little section for kids too so they have food they'll be head over heels for but it's a good portion size for them.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps are present and its pretty much ramps so the accessibility is wonderful for everyone and even the sit in option is suitable for wheelchair users too.
