Definitely the best punjabi food around Scotland. Visited this place everytime I'm around Scotland. On Each occison Singh has deliveried the best quality of apna food and service. Home made meat dishes specials are to die for! You know your curry is right when there's hardly any grease coming out not like many of these so called takeaways that drench the curry in oil.Ask for a special curry and yourll be please. Honestly wish this place was closer to home. This type of food is rare to come across and im so glad I bumped in to this jem of a takeway!Thumps up completely :)

Looks like a kebab shop in Chernobyl.Owner seems really creepy with a poor grasp of the English language.Cannot believe I waited nearly 2 hours for a freezing cold delivery.Avoid this place as there are so many better places to eat in Motherwell

Recommend the Donner Kebab. I always think Singh makes a good effort with the Kebabs and you always get a good size portion. The nan bread is now softer than the last nan bread and tastes excellent ?

Food here is delicious I have tried all but the the pizzas and omg it's amazing the burgers are the best I've ever tasted coming from someone who only ever used to buy kebabs that's a compliment. The king kebabs are huge could feed 2 maybe 3, had a prawn curry the prawns were massive personal option I weren't fond of that but thats just because I am not fond of curry

The special hoggie is to die for. Outstanding value for money and very tasty. Naan bread was made fresh in front of me. I’ll be back to try a curry soon.

The food is really lovely. The base flavours of the curries are delicious. They nailed the spice blend and balance for the South Indian garlic chilli chicken curry, which I always use as a benchmark for a good Indian because of the complex blend of big punchy flavours and delicate herbal aromatics, however it was just a bit too sweet. It was incredibly spicy, which I enjoy and hovered the line between amplifying the flavours and just being painful well, which is exactly what it should do. The chicken korma was interesting, the sauce was delicious, however it was very thick and gloopy. While the shaved coconut in the sauce added a lovely depth that not many Kormas offer, the thickness of the sauce combined with the ground coconut made a very claggy lumpy ordeal which, despite the delicious flavour, wasn't very enjoyable to eat. The chicken pakoras were bountiful, very reasonably priced for the amount you get, and most rarely of all from a takeaway, not soggy at all. The flavour profile was Certainly not the typical takeaway pakora you might expect, but it was a lot truer to its origins in being a spiced fried juicy bit of chicken with a crispy coating rather than an over cooked tiny bit of chicken in a thick soggy red batter. The portion size was also very good, and if ever I'm after some fried chicken Singh's tasty village will be my go to. On the whole, Singh's tasty village has provided some great quality food with good portion sizes, reasonable prices and very fast delivery times. The only bad point I would make is that I've had the same delivery driver twice and on both occasions they said that the price was more than the total it came to on just eat (delivery and service charges accounted for), so if you do order for here, which I recommend, then keep the final statement handy, if you're paying by cash, in case the driver does ask for more than the total. I was giving more as a tip the he tried to charge extra in both instances so it wasn't an issue, but it did leave a sour taste in my mouth
Excellent food??
