When our meal arrived it was warm not hot one of the chicken dish was so salty my hus band could not eat it coconut rice was more coconut than rice korma was nice but cold garlic nan was the best part of the meal lamb buna was nice but cold

I had an amazing experience at Biji’s kitchen. The staff were very friendly and polite. ☺️They understood what my order was and the girl at the counter was very kind and sweet. 100% recommended!!!!Vegetarian options: Lots of variety availableParking: Plenty of parking nearby

Been getting take away from here since June 16th 2022. 1st experience was poor.We gave it a 2nd chance since we heard it had changed hands. It was really good up until a recent experience. We had multiple hairs in 3 different types of food. Plus coconut oil in the rice. Disgusting. After calling up to tell them they said sorry and would issue a refund. 4 weeks later and nothing. When we called them back they said it was a bank issue. Called the bank and they made us sound daft by saying they know nothing about it.So sent an email explaining the situation again. Now we get a number to call to explain situation and get a refund. After this call I now have an email address to send the complaint to. In return they will pass it on to biji's kitchen and they will confirm the refund. So the bank story was a complete lie. I've spoke to the girl on the phone and told her my views. I got a sorry and that was it. I've worked in hospitality all my life and I know how customers should be treated. I never write reviews but on this occasion I have no option. They clearly don't care about their customers as probably really busy anyway. The sooner there is a better Indian in the area the better. I'll be using musselburgh from now on. This review is me being nice and trying to stay calm. Thanks .

I've only ordered about 5 times from here.... but i have to say... they are amazing. Food is so fresh tasting & bursting full of flavour. Their Tarka dhall is THE BEST ive ever tasted. Even the naan's which less face it, are usually soggy lumps of dough... are amazing. Packed with flavour. Only just found this place.... but love it.

Have had food from Bijis a few times and have never been disappointed. Food quality is too notch and the flavours in each dish is unique. Some personal favourites are of course butter chicken and lamb dhansak, their keema dishes are also delish!

Made an order online to collect, was very disappointed to say the least Tandoori mixed grill was absolutely pants it stated it come with sauce my mistake to think it would come with a curry sauce it come with a tub of chilli sauce There was nothing tandoori about it in the slightest just grilled meat The nan bread was stone cold and they had forgotten the rice which was added to the order when I placed it Definitely don’t recommended the meal I got tonight

Fantastic!!!! Had a lovely meal, as good as any sit in restaurant! Took longer than initially was told, however staff member contacted us to advise of this. Well worth the wait and the price.Loved it.
Not even a 1 star! Ordered at 8.20 , called at 10pm to be told delivery was on its way. No delivery by 10.25 so started calling to see what was happening with no answer. Shut without even delivering or advising there has been a problem! Will never ever order again! Worst customer service by anyones standards!

Used this place twice. First time delivery was 45 mins (which is fine) and food was great. Unfortunately the second time I used them the food took 2 hours to arrive. Won't be using them again.

18 quid for a curry nan bread and kofta kebab delivered sounds decent god was wrong the curry allow very nice but very small meat content and the kofta kebab 2 very stingy koftas in a wrap full of out of date salad was still hungry after a Indian takeaway that's wrong definitely not worth the money

Ordered for the first time tonight. Would not recommend. Curries were actually ok, but food order took a while (and was late), one item (the chips) were literally inedible (soggy, cold and over cooked). I asked for a new order of chips, no apology was offered, only an abrupt “Did you already eat them?” (Which of course I hadn’t). After another 20 minutes I cancelled the order as everything else was getting cold. No refund available, I was told just go via just eat (even though we paid in cash). So no resolution on this as yet. Quite poor overall.
