Pub was shut even when Google says it was open.Walked 13 mile hoping for a nice pub lunch. Had to settle for peanuts and a tracker bar in my rucksack. Please update your Google status for walkers.

Great little pub to stop at. Food is good and prices are decent. Staff was very friendly over the couples of days I stayed in the area. 100% a place I will go back too.

Visited over the weekend and I really can’t recommend the place enough.Prices are reasonable and the food is top notch.I had the Anglers arms tower burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had and the price was even better £12.99. Portions were simply huge too!My son had the kiddies burger which, again was fabulous and another generous portion.Drinks were priced well and the new owner Malcome was welcoming and very friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

This is the second time I enter in a pub with very low expectations and I am proven wrong! So so wrong!!The food was amazing and the staff was so polite and friendly. I have learned not to let myself be fooled by a place’s appearance and I have no intention of discussing renovation as I have no business knowledge, but what I can say was, the food was delicious and at a reasonable price.

Malcolm, the Landlord, is an absolute gentleman, needed somewhere to park the van whilst we were in Kielder to watch the Roger Albert Clark Rally. He was kind enough to let use use the power hookup as well. Cask beer is really well kept. Didn't sample the food as we didn't get back in time. Had a hot pie though.

Love this place. Granted I've only visited when I visit Kielder for camping or a bike ride. But always has lovely food here and nice coffee. Lovely staff, always have a little chat. Even though its used by all that visit, everyone feels local ?

I stayed at Kielder Campsite this weekend, visiting the Angler's Arms on two occasions. Early Friday evening was quiet and my meal arrived promptly. Battered cod, chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. Standard pub fare and no complaints. The pint of local craft bitter was a good pint. I could have had a few more but intended staying awake most of the night...Saturday the craft bitter was off so I stuck with an Irish stout. Very nice it was too. I elected for a Tower Burger meal and unfortunately waited around 45 minutes to be served as the pub was very busy and they only had one chef on. To be fair the staff were very attentive and apologetic. A friendly female staff member gifted me a free pint of stout for my troubles. Once the meal arrived again, standard pub fare cooked well.Prices were reasonable too at £4.20 a pint and meals around £14.Overall I have no complaints despite the long wait at tea time on Saturday evening. A pub serving tourists that does not gouge is rare. If you're like me and don't mind a very down to earth pub, and are passing through or camping I'd recommend the Angler's Arms.

Popped in for a drink and a quick bite as we were staying at the nearby Kielder campsite. No other pubs in the area reachable on foot. Just one main bar in a large room. Had the feel of a traditional basic function room. Staff were friendly enough. Beer was good. I had scampi & chips and wife had chicken breast & chips in a basket. Scampi nice, chicken a bit dry and chips had a strange taste (oil maybe needed a change). Large car park.

Run down pub, but quite busy and friendly atmosphere. Food was borderline OK, no vegetarian on menu at all. Very near to Kielder Observatory and Kielder Water.

Went to the pub after a walk around Kielder forest. First impressions of the pub were that it’s more of a social club than a pub, and seemed a little lacking in atmosphere…..but….a pint in (of very good Black Sky), along with some snacks from possibly the best snack selection I have ever seen in a pub, and also a very extensive jukebox, and….I liked it. Didn’t eat but there were people there who seemed to enjoy the food, and the landlord was very friendly and nice :)
