Dropped in for something to eat for breakfast on the road home, girlfriend ordered first and then I elected to go for the Scottish breakfast minus a few items due to dietary requirements, immediately sensed the waitress drawing me a look as if I was stupid and was causing her hassle having to remove a few items off a breakfast deal that I can’t eat… she then offered to double up on other items I did want to replace the ones I couldn’t have which I then found quite good so didn’t think anymore of it until the other older waitress arrived with the food, gave my girlfriend her order and proceeded to to tell me “ and here is yours… which caused our chefs all the hassle”. I was quite taken back at the fact that A) the first waitress had clearly made a fuss of my order to other staff and B) me asking for a simple change being removal of some items I don’t and can’t eat is apparently “hassle” for your chefs and a huge drama. I found this Incredibly rude and unprofessional for a waiting service and I do seriously hope not all your staff are as short sighted when dealing with a new customers order. Unlikely to return.

Food in restaurant has improved drastically and it's a pleasure to eat there nowadays. Afternoon tea is exceptional and good value. As always, gift selection in shop is very good.

Ran Into this place by accident due to a road closure / diversion. Great views over Glasgow and very friendly staff . Left feeling impresses and looked after . Whether or not the prices were good I have no idea as I have no garden . Bought a tree and left . The tree was a gift. I'm not nuts .

Lovely restaurant, very helpful and knowledgeable staff in all areas. Could do with widening the entrance and exit road.

Pleasant staff, good food and fantastic views across to Ben Lomond and beyond ... but only if you're very lucky with the weather ! And a good range of plants, gifts, etc. from the garden centre.

The food in their restaurant was very expensive, for the price I paid for a couple of poached eggs, a rasher of bacon and 2 slices of toast I would have expected better. The bacon was pre-cooked, hard and rubbery, the poached eggs were overcooked and the toast was poor quality bread that had also gone hard, the butter in the little packs had melted on the plate. Very poor quality meal. Cost me just shy of £10 with a small pot of tea

Fantastic array of plants at a much better standard than other garden centres in the immediate area, prices are very similar. The cafe has fab views across Glasgow to the Campsies and beyond ?
