Awesome food and Good Wine collection. Deserts were fantabulous. A cozy place in Newton Mearns. One of the best Italian places around. Must visit.

Unfortunately, our experience did not match that of a number of other reviewers. On arrival, we requested a table at the window. We were told the window tables were fully booked even though two were unoccupied. When we booked, we were not given a choice of window or aisle seats. My sister-in-law thought the waiter was rude (though I did not hear the full conversation). Three of us had risotto dishes and we all agreed the rice was stodgy. The spaghetti was disappointing also. Service was slow and inattentive. At one stage we were waiting for something while the staff were chatting amongst themselves and eating ice creams. I suggested leaving no tip, but my brother thought we should leave something. However, the bill then took so long to arrive that he changed his mind. In summary, the food was disappointing, the service was slow and I have decided to ‘delist’ Nonna Gina’s for the moment.

I had my birthday meal at Nonna Gina's and once again a fantastic meal was had by all. Pasta cooked perfectly and pizza was spot on. Only disappointment was no lasagne on menu... it was my favourite dish. I had calzone instead and was really yum, but please bring back lasagne. ? Thanks again to all the staff for making it a special day.

Now that's the way you do it so many times I have been to a Italian restaurant firstly the music is wrong (why play Kyle) which creates the wrong atmosphere secondly because I am using a voucher I either get a smaller portion or less of a service not here when we arrived we were shown to our table but the moll wanted a window view looking into the piazza I thought this is the nearest we are going to get to a holiday so I asked no problemo came the reply food was excellent , wine price reasonable ,décor lovely, staff very knowledgeable and interested all in all great night will deffo be back

My sister and I go for tea and cake and the staff and manager are so lovely and accommodating. Friendly chat and superb cake/deserts! Highly recommend this restaurant if you like a relaxed time.
