Cheap food and located near the motorway. Staff are nice which is a bonus, would return when back in the area.

I loved Hungry Horse, We had been going for years, we were regulars we know alot of the staff but tonight i was totally disappointed. They had changed the layout for food if you want table service you have to sit up where the kids sit. While i enjoy my dinner in peace and quiet tonight i couldnt enjoy my dinner for a screaming kid. I didnt finish my food i was just glad to get out of there. You've made a big mistake Hungry Horse in the new lay out, I wont be going back :(

Quick dinner catch up with the family, excellent service by Rowen and the rest of the team. The food is reasonably priced pub grub, with special offers every day and a Sunday Roast on Sundays. Unfortunately there were things unavailable on the menu including the roast beef, but the place was rather busy so they had run out. Would return, there is a children's playground and tv's at some of the tables which is good for entertaining the kids! I recommend trying the Mix it Up!

We have been to this restaurant a few times now. For the price you pay, the portions are excellent. The service is fantastic and the food is great. Each time we have been served by Dave, his character and service is 2nd to none. Engages with all that the table, especially the kids.

It is over 2 years since we were able to visit our friends in Newton Mearns and enjoy lunch at the Capelrig. I am very happy to report that the the meal and service were excellent. My favourite is the steak and ale pie which is wonderful. Our waiter, Elliot was very attentive and his service was first class. We will be back again soon.
