Amazing food, on both occasions. Will be booking again when we visit Scotland in June.

Stayed in their carpark in our motorhome and had an excellent meal in the restaurant.

We visited The Harbour Inn in Garlieston on a visit to the town. It is a lovely, relaxed pub with friendly staff. We also had dinner and it was really nice. It was great that we could take our dog in with us and the staff gave him a couple of biscuits which was really nice. Would recommend when visiting the town.

Newly opened again, but no atmosphere, stair carpet to ladies needs a good clean, didn't eat as one man sent his back couple of times so we decided not too, beer cloudy but tasted ok ,it's rather canteen like

A very friendly place. They very helpfully fit us in for an unbooked meal and overnight campervan stop, even though very busy on a Saturday night. Good food too. We slept in the car park, so can't rate the rooms.Nearby activities: Some interesting birds in the bay. Pleasant walking along the shore.

Absolutely amazing place the staff were amazing and so helpful and the food was so good. At breakfast I was a little late and the cook couldn’t be any nicer or more helpful! I will for sure be coming

Fantastic hospitality by the lady with short hair, made us feel very welcome. The Harbour Inn ale is surprisingly moreish given that it's actually brewed by carlsberg and definitely went down a treat. Proper homecooked food, with the best roulade we've ever tasted. Unfortunately the chicken burger was slightly underdone for our liking, and the steak pie lacked a little depth of flavour but otherwise pretty good. On the whole a welcoming place, with fairly good food to top it off, the service being absolutely top notch.

Great pub, good ales and tasty soup. Along with a roaring fire in the bar.

I cannot rate this place highly enough in every regard. I spent one night here with my dog and every point of the stay was excellent. The room was quite, comfortable and with an amazing view. I was served dinner to my room to accommodate the dog and this was exceptional as well as a tasty breakfast the next morning. The location is perfect for a quiet break away and taking a walk to the beach at night will give you the best unadulterated view of the night sky. Highly recommend!

Spent New Year in Garlieston with a group of friends and went to The Harbour Inn for a meal one evening. Can't say a single bad word about our experience. There were 9 of us and they easily catered to us all. Service was swift and friendly, and the food was fantastic. Lovely bar area too if you're just stopping for a drink.
