Great experience as a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 children) for a late lunch. Service was very attentive and thoughtful, good range of choices, our food was delicious (soup, panini, burgers etc plus good selection of tray bakes, cakes & scones), and restaurant clean, bright and well set up. Also very reasonably priced. Would recommend.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan & Gluten free available -including cakesParking: Public Car park next to it, plus supermarket parkingKid-friendliness: Children’s menu and staff were very thoughtful about how the food was presented (ie not putting the beans on toast etc)

Popped into this café again, new owners I believe, just as great at the last ones, excellent staff and food, we only had a snack i.e. bacon roll, just as good as always.

Had a lovely pre cinema lunch with my friend, due to it being so busy and a wait for tables to be free we were kindly offered seats by a chap lunching on his own, how kind. Food was delicious and fresh, we were served by Alex who was an absolute delight, really happy at his work and his happiness was infectious. Happy to recommend.
Well talk about serendipity, we were a bit peckish, went into the first place we found, it was heaving. thought, these guys have got to be doing something right. Waited for about 10 mins and was shown to a table. The young ladies were brilliant and efficient Keri was really warm and welcoming . I ordered the today’s special, mushrooms on garlic toast , my wife had the homemade delicious curried parsnip soup. Initially we thought the prices a tad high, but the quality of the food was excellent resulting in very good value for money. There are many restaurants who would do well to model this establishment. Well done Ladies

We came across this place on our first day at Newton stewart. Food was fresh, and loads to choose from, staff were friendly and helpful. They have a choice of GF and Vegan items too. We liked the food and atmosphere that much we went every day for our lunch, never had the same thing twice. Would highly recommend reserving a place as it was very busy and popular with the locals.

This cafe was an unexpected find on bank holiday Monday. The staff were really lovely and helpful and the food was perfect. I have walked past it so many times and not realised it was there but I will definitely be going back.Dietary restrictions: They had lactose free milk available.
